Wait & see how many we get, then see how N Z fare in their first innings.

This is when England most need Graeme Swann at number 9. We've a very long tail to come, especially as Broad is in terrible form with the bat. Can't see Jimmy, Finn or Monty contributing much.
109-7! This is getting better and better!
Stupid shot after stupid shot.
Cook, Bell, Root, Trott, Broad and Prior just gave their wickets away. Shocking. Stinks of complacency.
Still, we've lost all the opening tests of our last three tours, so this was really to be expected.
119/8.
Still confident of a 1st innings lead
English arrogance getting its come - uppance
My nan would have caught that in her pinny.
Jimmy
Reverse sweep for 4 and more than enough runs in the bank.
Another boundary - shelling peas.
166-9
Declare, lads - psychological advantage
Jimmy
Finn
Disgraceful that their partnership is the highest of the innings, but hats off to them. Very well played.
167 All Out
Good recovery. Now get a lead of 80 odd...

We dont want to be the second team in history to lose a game by an innings after declaring in the first innings
167 all out.
Still think the draw is most likely outcome, but only if Eng batting improves considerable.
I hope Anderson and Finn can get 10 wickets between them before Broad gets his hands on the ball.....
..........ARGH!!!..Look I'm sorry but I'll have to sign in later when I get myself in order and rid this pain in the side from laughter........cheers to all my p0mmie chum's.....

Honestly, give us some credit English fans!! Enough of the arrogance. We're dominating at the moment you should be embarrassed. Time for NZ to get a big lead!!
And we are definitely not as bad as Australia
131-0, 36 runs behind. Brilliant batting from Fulton and Rutherford Best day of test cricket by us in a long time.
To put this partnership into perspective:
- This is the highest opening partnership by NZ since 2004.
- This is the 5th highest opening partnership by NZ against England (so far).
- This is only the 4th 100+ run opening partnership by NZ in the last 8 years.
Well done NZ. A perfect day of cricket for you guys. Still hopeful we will keep it competitive and dig ourselves out of this mess in the second innings but fair play to you
Morning champers, on the balance of play I think New Zealand just edged it!
Just woke up and checked score. Wtf!!!!!!!!!
