Anderson may well be a descent bloke off the field, it's his disgraceful attitude in giving someone a send off when in fact he walked.
I've not got a problem with a bowler giving it to the batsman when it's been give an take for the last hour both verbal and bashing by both parties, but to give it to a bloke whom walks is an act of a grub...

If NZ declare over night. England bat 4 and a half sessions.. get a lead of an 160 and bowl the kiwis out for 75.. problem solved
Serioulsy England have been totally crap and deserve to lose. Some of the batsmen's shots they made were criminal.

As for Finn bowling 100mph. all i saw him do was bowl short on a very slow pitch.. short and wide for most of his deliveries. England finally got clued up after Newzealand amassed 200-1 . Slow wicket ie pitch the ball up.. minds still stuck on the bouncy odi tracks.

Yeah, very well done new zealand, proved a few people wrong.

However, this game will still end up drawn.

It seems to me that England are slow to react to a plan not working. Whether that is down to a lack of experience from Cook I don't know.

What I do know is when I was playing and one line of attack was seeing me getting spanked, I changed it pretty fast, and I didn't need my skipper to tell me to do so.

All credit to the Kiwis for keeping the pressure on. England need a big first session tomorrow or this game is gone.

What's happening to England ? Do they need a few more players from our country to be good again? Must look in to ABDV or Steyns family tree maybe there's a grandparent from uk .. Joke country

Frankie, if you're from SA, shouldn't you be supporting the Kaiser Chiefs or some team like that and not CFC?

Saffer supporting a London side..........how's that bar job going for you?

I think Spitting Image summed it up nicely....

I've never met a nice South African
And that's not bloody surprising me
Cos they're a bunch of ignorant ar-eholes
Who hate black people

Is this the most appropriate time to copy and paste maksis comments from the bbc - here it is:

Win or lose, I am still England and thank god everyday for that. Just to underline that i served for over 22 years in our army doing my bit for our Great country.
The Indians, Saffers, Aussies and New Zealanders on here are calling us arrogant and cocky, and as soon as their team gets on top...... Will look what happens.
Human nature, an often horrible thing.

GOD SAVE OUR QUEEN.

Think it will be touch and go between NZ win or draw this match now. England need to bat well on what looks to be an ok pitch with not much play time on it.

The irony of seeing rabbit "chest beating" over a NZ decent performance!!! especially when use just got spanked by India who are apparently "in decline" in test match cricket

posted on 8/3/13

Didnt the Aussies draw against NZ 1-1 on their own turf the last time they played them?

Oh yes, yes they did

posted on 8/3/13

Surprise surprise more premature chest beating from another person who is quick to criticise others for it. The first match hasn't even finished yet.
