Have you watched Barca this season? Messi doesn't turn up for a few games, Farca LOL their way through attempting to cover for the shortfall. He's basically their entire attacking unit. As outstanding as Iniesta and Xavi are, Messi, at club level (international soccer is not as rich in quality and tactical understanding because of inherent reasons) is their game breaker and the only one remotely consistent as and when the time requires.
