I'd have to go for Terry to be honest. The guy would die rather than concede a goal.

Vidic, Rio and Adams are very close but Terry for me.
+++++++++++++++++++++++

Silly boy.

I thought a poster like you must have figured him out by now.

Someone is wumming, or just being utterly stupid. Terry couldn't lace Adams boots.

"He was in the Bruce, Terry, King category."
-------
???? Bruce & Terry ???? Terry is a thug and nothing more! Bruce was ok, but no Sami. King is certainly up there with Vidic and Sami IMO.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

What's there to get surprised?

Terry may be a vile person but as a CB he has always been terrific and one of the best of all time.

The God Fowler

---

So does this mean that Hyypia and Carragher were the greatest partnership to ever grace these lands. And Rafa the genius behind it thus proving he is the greatest manager of all time. With such defence and management proving Liverpool to undoubtedly be the best team of the PL era, am I right?

Wayne acting like he's a respected poster on here

Mate, you're the biggest joke on here. A mere mosquito on the backs of giants.

Terry when he was at his best, before all the rubbish about his private life, etc, was a man mountain in defence! Easily as good as any other CB the league has ever seen.

He is now arguing with me how Sir Alex came off as the winner against Jose after the tie

Might be my age showing but Addams was a monster.

Probably the best I have seen.

I thought that was just a given? Fergie had his team dominating. Jose lucked out with a decision, and then was humble enough to acknowledge we were the better side.

Exactly. I can't see how anyone can argue otherwise

You don't understand Jose at all then. He was being pseudo-humble because he wants the United job when Fergie retires.

Surely Wayne and Robin will not take that??

I'm not so sure, I genuinely think he has a hell of a lot of respect for Fergie, and it wouldn't dent his ego any to admit Fergie beat him tactically.

But SAF didn't come off the winner, Joses team are in the next round.

Now, SAF might have come off the winner, if he had sorted his subs out after the Nani sending off, instead of arguing with officials, yes?

In my opinion, Jose is too vain to admit when any of his teams (a mere extension of himself) has been outplayed. He's very manipulative and cunning, and the guy does have a psychology degree.

I think the game was even, both teams played some good stuff and had their chances. If it had stayed 11 vs 11, I think United would have eventually won.

He has a psychology degree and a job? That's a rarity

I think it'd be better if you'd said:

"Real came off as winners, but Fergie gave Mourinho a masterclass"

Mourinho and Real couldn't compete with Fergie's tactics until a dreadful decision turned it for them. Think all the squad can be very happy knowing that they played extremely well.

You said on Wednesday that we were outplayed.

Do make your mind up.

I was generally wumming on wednesday because I was in a silly mood. Being honest.
