5 wins in a row, unbeaten in 8, teams above us faltering slightly.

This could be on like fat pat's thong!

Me too CEF, but I think that we might find ourselves going backwards mid-week, so expect o be bouncing around 9-6 until we can catch the likes of Leicester, but anything is possible in this league. Only 9 wins left. The mountain does not look as insurmountable as it did some 4 weeks ago! COYWM!!!!

Cardiff v Leicester - possibly a draw, since neither are in good form. Cardiff win would be better for us though.

Leeds v Peterborough - expect a Leeds win, but Posh have had some great results, so fingers crossed they at least draw.

Barnsley v Brighton - really fancy Barnsley. But this may be the bad result of the night.

The momentum all seems to be with us so why not?

5* for article content and commitment to redoing it.

I'm not too bothered what the other teams do, although I do expect that they will drop all drop points as I expect we will. The difference is we are in good form and may not drop as many as the teams above us.

Some teams will be looking at our form and getting nervous, so I expect that when we play the teams above us they will not be as confident as they might have been a few weeks ago.

We have an excellent chance of getting into a play
off position.

Zat, who in hells name is fat Pat?

This could be on like fat pat's thong!

We're not going to get 81 points. I don't see us going on a 14 game winning streak!

I would be happy to finish in the 70 points region. If that gets us playoffs then so be it. If it doesn't then fine. I think it will be good for 4th position.

swie-can you change the sentence ,they will drop points as i expect we will,"and change it to" ,they will drop points and i dont expect us to.,And then write 5,000 times, I must be more positive.

SWIE - the number of games that the 7 teams above us have against each other is unbelievable. So many points have to be dropped by them just by that fact alone.

We only have to play Leicester and Cardiff, while most of the others have 4 or 5 games against top 7.

Our current form point wise is creating hope, performance wise we have been average. At Oakwell last week we should have had that game finished by half time, but we let a pub side back in the game.Yesterday Benny and I discussed and agreed although it wasnt pretty we should accept and hope for more one nil wins.
If we did manage to sneak up,I believe a major clear out would be needed and more quality players are desperatly needed.Stuck in a rock and hard place really, get up and get battered or stay in this league and wither away.
I always want /hope for the best for our club,a few interesting weeks ahead I think, although I think we will fall 2 points behind the Play off spots.

I just don't know about a clear out. The exciting thing about DF is that he is untested at the top level. I know that didn't work out for us last time but doing it this way is our only choice now.

Goldenwyn, I have already started my lines but it may take a few days to finish them. I tend to suffer from repetitive stress syndrome from pressing the same keys. I thought we were getting on fine but just you wait until write something negative!!!!!

CEF, I did say that,
"We have an excellent chance of getting into a play
off position". I agree with your point regarding the teams above us playing each other and some of them if not all, will drop points.

I am now looking for 81 points. I don't want any more lines. Was/is goldenwyn a teacher? If so I wouldn't have wanted to be in his class. He's very hard with his punishments and as I wasn't very good, I would have suffered.

Mallorca, good to see you back on the the board. I hope that you are well.

Good to see you back MT

I appreciate CEF that our run in appears to be easier than some in the top 6, but my worry is that if we do managed to scrape a top 6 spot we won't have played against many of the other playoff teams in our run in, so we might not be able to move up that extra gear to play against a Hull or Watford.

I suppose its DFs responsibility to prepare the players for each and every game and that includes the playoff games IF we get there.

Can't shake this niggling feeling we could be facing Palace in a playoff final. Now that would be very scary!
