^ Curry is our national dish..
I make a nice chicken balti, all from scatch.. Delicious..
you may win this series but you have never won on the sub continent pitches.
it is al well and good playing on your turfs were most of your players play week in week out but but I can remember your team were trashed overthere in india.
I am not from india or england and neutral in this.
but when you do this home and away then I call you the rightfully number 1 cricket team.
I think honestly that the south african team is better than yours because their battling and bowling is equally good home and away.
so come back when you do this on the sub continent.
"I can remember your team were trashed overthere in india."
Our last two tours of India, we drew a 3 match series 1-1 in 2006 and lost a 2 match series 1-0 in 2008.
Hardly 'thrashed'.
Phal
Is that the really really hot one?

You couldn't make this up could you We were going to get slaughtered by Australia because we can't take 20 wickets or even play cricket over there, and we murdered them.
Then I heard, ok, well wait until the world number one team, India, come to England, with the best batting line up in the history of the game, you have no chance against them and here we are slaughtering them.
So now it's South Africa that are going to give us a hiding? and when we beat them it will be Bangladesh or the West Indies?
What a load of hollocks. If you can't see that we are not the same team that played India all those moons ago, then you haven't got a clue. If England have not impressed you by now, not at all? then you don't have a clue. It's our time and we will batter South Africa, and anybody else we meet.
