They are not that good. If you defend for 175 minutes I think you can nick a goal at the end.
Anyone on here claiming to know much more than what a few UEFA cup coverages and the internet will tell them is lying
They've had good home form in the europa league so away goals will be more important than the result at Russia

They knocked out Athletico Madrid.
Don't underestimate them.

Whether it's against Wigan or Kazan, I'm not sure I would trust us to defend competently for 175 minutes. We were sloppy against Bucharest, and with our fixture congestion, will probably only get sloppier. Maybe Torres will suffer another haphazard injury and once again, play like a player possessed, making the defense less integral to the result.
They did the double over Barcelona a few years ago. They have a pretty good Turkish attacking midfielder whose name I've forgotten.
"They did the double over Barcelona a few years ago."
Vaguely remember it. Was it more or less a fluke, a couple of hard-earned results, a bad stylistic match for Barca, or something else? Looks like these guys are capable of getting a good result against a big team when they need it, and shouldn't be underestimated...

No they didn't. They drew at home and won away.
Then had them in the groups the following year and drew at home then lost away.
That's him TDB
Oh right Rev - winning away at Barce still no mean feat.
They also have Carlos Eduardo but he's on loan.
Oh and Rubin Kazan have been playing their Europa league games at Luzhniki stadium
bad memories...
I remember them beating Barcelona at Camp Nou two years back following a draw at home with them.
They are quite good.

I find this kind of encouraging. Terry performs best when under pressure or facing adversity. If he plays, I wouldn't be surprised at another Terry goal or a top-notch defensive performance!
"Do they not have Eto"
Eto'o is at the team where Torres will find himself if he doesn't produce more performances like the one against Bucharest. I'm guessing Rondon, who was linked to us, is Rubin's main striker.
currently they have the strongest team in their history, extremly well balanced and well organised.
I can't see Chelsea going through to the next round.
torres to score 2 own goals.
Kazan want to revert to their own staduim for our game apparently...another five hours away apparently...
that's what I read anyway..
