scholes vs aston villa
next question
A beauty no doubt, however not sure if it was best ever. Would Cantonas effort against the bar have beaten it had it not hit the bar?
not for me, scholesy's was just the most perfect strike and barely any effort went in to it at all
I'd actually argue Rooney's against Newcastle was better than Scholes' volley against Villa.
nah a ball dropping from that height is so difficult to hit perfectly
Van Persie vs Charlton for me.
Incredibly underrated goal.

My favourite.
Scholes against villa, just perfect
Sinclars overhead kick for qpr!!! What a fookin goal that was!
But scholes is my fav!
rooney overhead kick deserves a mention as does bergkamp's hatrick goal vs leicester
Ye VP's goal was ridiculous actually.
Or maybe Henry's free kick against Wigan with the little nod at the referee. Pure class.

pure class or pure arrogance?
That Le Tissier goal you're describing was against Newcastle if I remember correctly.
Funny you should mention Blackburn though because the goal he scored against them when he beat Flowers from about 35 yards out was IMO the best goal of the PL era.
ronaldo's freekick vs portsmouth was better and his left footed bullet at fratton park was an awesome goal
Cantona vs Sunderland is a personal favourite. Beckham vs Wimbledon was pretty awesome too
Galloping major- yes what a goal that was! He dribble past 3 players first then curled a thunderbolt into the top left corner!
rooney counter attack goals vs bolton in 2006/7 and arsenal in 2009/10 were brilliant
and one that a lot of people will forget is mario stanic's ball juggling 30 yard volley for chelsea at the bridge
Yeboah against Liverpool was a beauty but not best goal ever though

mario stanic's goal wow
Di Canio against Wimbledon? (I think it was against them)
Giggs & Scholes,
Pretty sure I read somewhere that before the game he told Flowers that he would knock his towel off the net and he did with that goal.
Not sure how true it is but you wouldn't put it past Le Tissier.

any of Le Tissiers goals. Guy was a legend. The free kick that he flicked up and volleyed into the goal was awesome.
