Liverpool have been hit by a spate of bad injuries, but have tempered that by dropping the likes of Suso, Wisdom, Sterling and Shelvey back to the U21's.
None of those will be available tonight I assume as they are all on U21 duty for their respective countries this week, but I am not certain on that.
If they are unavailable it will be a significantly weakened and very young Liverpool team as some U18's will likely step into the breach.
The match is also on Virgin cable Channel 544 LFCTV starting at 18:45 pm
LFCTV is a free channel, 429 on Sky
I hope it is a weakened Liverpool squad righteous as I dont want the same kind of drubbing you gave us last time in phase 1.
Well our U18's are in the FA Youth Cup semi-finals, so there is still plenty of talent in there

Gulacsi, McLaughlin, Roddan, Sama, Jones, Coady, Dunn, Teixeira, Morgan, Nacho, Ibe.
Half Time and 1-1.
Bright start to the game, but after 15 minutes, Liverpool took control and have had by far the majority of possession.
Zele has made a couple of decent runs on a dreadful pitch.
I do like the look of Jordan Ibe though. I remember him giving us the run around earlier in the season. Very talented and I'll look forward to him playing for England U21's soon.

FT 1-2
Not a very good performance to be fair. Just like the first team, too many hoof balls and no creativity in midfield. I'd like to see Zele on the bench for the first team and give him a go on a decent pitch. Nothing to lose if we try it and everything to gain.
So much for the Super Academy. Same old crap of hoof and hope.
Do they arrive clueless or do Wolves' coaches have to teach them?
Hopes dashed again. You should have parked the bus again like you did against Man Utd U21s.

Wolves don't have the luxury of experimenting with youth just now. If the season was effectively over, and a place in the league guaranteed, then maybe yes. You're starting to sound like your brother. √ (Does that first symbol look like "lunar" okay?)
We shouldn't be to disheartened it was a very classy Liverpool side.
I also liked the look of Ibe and Shearer.
Isn't Zeli banned now for the next 3 games does that not include senior games as well?
It's Texeira... suppose when they pronounce it sounds like "to shearer"
Sorry, it did sound like Shearer.
I would be happy to take Ibe on loan now that we have lost our left winger. What do you think the chances are?
Very minimal!
Ibe is one of our u18s and still has youth cup semi final to play in.
Didnt you think he looked a bit Mediterranean to be named Shearer?

Cheers Red.
Thought him and Robinson would have played together and would know each others game, so if he did come the transition would be a lot smoother.
Can't resist it can you Butey?
Did you watch the U21 game? If so then you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Haven't seen much of the first team this season, but there again neither have you. But I've seen plenty over the last few seasons and the whole style of football at this club seems to be one dimension with no creativity at all.
One man who tried to get us to hold onto the ball more often and retain possession didn't fit into a system Wolves have played for as long as I can remember and as a consequence lost his job before he even had a chance to change things.
"Wolves don't have the luxury of experimenting with youth just now." The problem with that quote is that it's because we've always been in a relegation battle for the last 3 seasons.
As the commentator said last night, if the 1st team players cannot get us out of trouble (and they're the ones who got us there in the first place) then try a few youngsters.
Thankfully Doherty, Batth and Davis are making their mark this season and I'd still prefer Batth to that donkey Johnson.
Anyone know where Jamie Rekord has gone and also Peszko?
Sunny after saying that...
“Not a very good performance to be fair. Just like the first team, too many hoof balls and no creativity in midfield.”
...do you still think that the answer lies in introducing those players into the first team?
As an aside I see you think that......
“One man who tried to get us to hold onto the ball more often and retain possession didn't fit into a system Wolves have played for as long as I can remember and as a consequence lost his job before he even had a chance to change things.”
....would you like to hazard a guess at our possession stats under Stale and under Saunders? Which one do you think is highest?
