that's as good as having rescinded it by UEFA's standards

do you reckon we will be reinstated in to the CL? or a re-match?

Why do you keep typing this? Are you hoping it gets funnier?

Think SAF is lucky if thats all he got, I like SAF but to many times this season he has got away with having a dig when things don't go Utd s way...Nani was a sending off harsh but it was.

I think the weak punishments are an inadvertent admission by UEFA that they know the ref well and truly 'performed coitus against another person without their consent' us...

sir alex didnt have a dig thats the point of the fine, he didnt attend the post match press conference

he didnt have a dig, he just didnt attend the after match press conference, sending phelan instead, which isnt against the rules.

so why the feck he has been fined i dont know.

Probably fined because we didn't send any players out for an interview. Since it is probably SAF's job to make someone do it, that is why he got fined.

Maybe...

Mexican

He flipped on the pitch and look like he had a few words to say to the 4th Officals. also He was meant to do a press confrence and this is another rule hence why he has been fined

£8,500 for being distraught is a bit harsh

You're allowed to send a proxy out, which we did in Phelan.

Nope, there was something on the BBC the day after the match about it that said Ferguson can't be charged because he failed to attend. If it is labelled as failing his media obligations, I'd be willing to bet that it is because he didn't force any of the players out there to talk,

no mate, fergie was in his rights to send phelan out.

as for the players not talking to the press i would have thought that was utd who would have been fined, not fergie himself.

'Nani was a sending off harsh but it was.'

I bet your were calling for a red card every challenge if the old firms then.

When EUFA take a ban from 3 games to just 1, it's because they know he decision was incorrect. They just don't have the balls to come out and admit it.

That is what I thought at first, but I guess it makes sense that Fergie would be charged, after all he is supposed to be in charge and making the decisions, maybe who attends post match interviews is another part of it?

Who knows, either way, 8 and a half k is nothing, probably the minimum they can do for this offence. and I compeltely agree with you on that BB

yeah 8000 wow, thats load of money,

posted on 22/3/13

I didnt think it was even a booking nevermind a red card , he was totally trying to bring the ball down

the sending off spoiled my viewing that night in what was a cracking game

Or perhaps it was for not doing a press conference, instead of the tv interview, in which case no players need to be present for that, but if he didn't attend it and you're not allowed to send a proxy for that one, then that'll be it

Post match media obligations is a little vague really
