What a player, what a man, what a signing.
Our 3rd best player this season behind only Lukaku and McAuley.
His partnership with Mulumbu is immense.
Revelation.
The article made the point that its more the national media who underrate him. Pretty much every Albion fan knows how important he is. Its pretty sad and pathetic that Peter Odemwingie driving to London stays in the news for weeks yet they ignore the actual footballers. Some commentators can't even pronounce this guys name properly. (Jacoff being my personal favourite).
This time last year we had Keith Andrews playing there. With all due respect to him, Yacob is different gravy.
Progress.
Agree Teix.
Gary Neville did an excellent piece on his and Mulumbu's partnership on Monday Night Football.
And he's been linked to United in the press so not totally unnoticed by the media I suppose but you're right he has for the most part gone under the radar.
Only good for us though. More likely to keep him that way.
You only have to look at Lukaku's recent press and how unlikely it looks like he'll be returning.
I do think he deserves a better song though
'Hes magic' doesn't really catch on the same way the McAuley, Popov and Mulumbu songs do.
He and Shane Long deserve better songs
