Let's compare the players actual abilities for once though please.

So their actual abilities is based on your opinion

This is a forum, where people post articles and comments based on their opinion, rain man.

Arsenal, yeah man. Oh yeah.

What was this bit all about?

As for the article, I agree tbh. Suarez is a good player, but Aguero is better in pretty much every department. Younger as well.

Kamran
How hilarious was it when people were trying to claim the Uruguayan was light years ahead? Totally delusional.

Idiots go completely by form when judging players.

My thoughts exactly.

The thing is sometimes Aguero is lazy and he doesn't always show his potential. When both are on form, Aguero is better IMO, but he doesn't always show it.

Dribbling: Aguero

Passing and Link-play: have to give passing to Suarez, i'm afraid. As good as Aguero is, his passing can be a little iffy at times. Doesn't always release the ball when he should. Suarez's passing for me, his long passing in particular, is better than Aguero's. Link-up play is Aguero's though. Him and Tevez are an unbelievable partnership when they click, arguably the best in the Prem.

Touch & control: Aguero for me too.

Shooting and finishing:

Aguero the better finisher from close range, but from longer range, I'd rather have Suarez.

Creativity and Intelligence: Aguero doesn't create nearly as much as Suarez does, so this one goes to Luis. Aguero is more intelligent though.

Pace: Aguero

Balance: Aguero

Strength: Aguero

Set-pieces: Suarez

All in all, I do think Aguero's the better player.

"Imo Suarez is the better all round player."

Please expand on this.

Dubbed is probably not allowed to post articles on the Liverpool board so he has mentioned arsenal to prevent admins from taking it off this board

Oh, right. Could you not double post it on the Liverpool and Man City boards?

Personally, I think Aguero is a great player but he's not been even half as good as Suarez this season. Suarez has easily been player of the season.

It's close between them.

Suarez has more grit and everyone knows that's the best skill to have. Can't teach grit.

Yeah. Form wise Suarez has been better. No denying that. But form doesn't make up for the differences in their game.
The chasm in ability is clear for all to see.

To me Suarez is the third best player in the world after Ronaldo and Messi and when comparing him to Aguero is like comparing Cazorla to Rory Delap. Suarez miles ahead imo.

Well Aguero had better show off that chasm in ability more often otherwise I can't see City winning the league in the next few season.

That is why no one pays attention to you fabtastic

In fact his whole game is based around graft and workmanship quality which he combines with his good technique. A very effective combo.
====================

I think we agreed on this before, Dubbed, but as you say probably Suarez's best asset is his sheer force of will to win, which shows itself in all aspects of his play. Personally I don't believe his close control is all that, but he will do anything to make sure he is first too the ball ahead of the defender.

Agree with you on technique as well - we've seen some great touches from him but he hasn't got the consistency. No one in the league has technique like RVP, the dirty .

tbh I saw the length of the article and just really couldn't be arrsed to read it.

I wasn't trying to take a dig at you, just genuinely had no idea what that first line was about.

Aguero gets a bit overrated, there's not much between them. Aguero is more talented but he's not that consistent. If we could sign one I would get Suarez.

I agree with 8bit. Controversy aside, I'd rather have Suarez.
