Nasri, I think your old club is sending you a message. DON'T GO TO UNITED.
I bet the mancs wont be getting carried away unlike some of our fans who booed the team off at the emirates cup
it was 2-2 when there were 5 young man u players playing when they went off the likes of ginola pop idol winner and fat 50 year old they were torn apart. 2-2 with young players i think is well good cleverly and welbeck dominated a first choice marseille team
I think you are forgetting, Fergies fledglings(ironic name), that had Arsenal fielded their U-21s side they would have stood a chance. Afobe, Wilshere, Szczesny, Frimpong, Miyaichi, Bartley and co. A little more promising than Cleverly and Welbeck.
hahaha yh ok keep telling yourself arsenal have good young players. You managers been saying that for god knows how long but yeah im sure you will win the champions league soon, thats if you can qualify first
and it wasnt our u-21 side we had 5 players playing in first half and it was 2-2 when the pop idol winner, ginolad, fat 50 year old came on they then scored
Typical. Lose an argument about youth players and go on about the senior squad.
YEAH Arsenal might suck but how many titles have your women won? Come back when you have something to show.

the first half was our young players second half the older players came on. smalling, jones went off at 2-2
Fergies_fledglings (U3577)
8-2!
Half of the players weren't even ours!
Haha 8-2. Looooooooooooool.
This is too funny.
sure they weren't
Smalling
Jones
Evra
Park
Cleverley
Welbeck
Pogba

Come on guys I think we are being a bit hard on them. They played the first half with five players against eleven and then some strange characters came on and changed the complexion of the match. So overall, they did well
Arsenals youth players very rarely win trophies and right now Uniteds youth players look far more promising. Ravel Morrison and Paul Pogba are stars in the making.
Bentley, Seb Larrson, Owusu Obeyu, Bendtner, Lupoli are just a few examples of the long line of Arsenal 'prodigies' that never amounted to anything

Well done for picking out a select handful.
It's very easy to pick out Morrison and Pogba. The former has attitude problems, and you're very lucky you didn't get punished for the way you signed the latter.
Bravo
Yep, really hilarious, a team loses heavily in a pre-season meaningless friendly by trying out stuff and changing players around. Oh ha ha, how funny, that hasn't ever happened before has it?
Glad you're enjoying your first pre-season
here's my really long screename isn't it really funny ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha (U4098)
Supergoon - i could name many more such as merida, vela, simpson but apart from Ashley Cole who moved to Chelsea im struggling to recall any Arsenal youth players who have gone on to forge a successful career
As for clutching at straws with Morrisons attitude and Pogbas purchase from Le Havre I think you should look closer to home with Wilsheres off field antics. Who cares about that anyway its the players ability to become a young prospect into a winner we are talking about and thats where United have eclipsed Arsenal when bringing in young players
"im struggling to recall any Arsenal youth players who have gone on to forge a successful career"
Andy Cole should be at least ONE name that stands out for you as a Manc, at least.
"As for clutching at straws with Morrisons attitude and Pogbas purchase from Le Havre."
There are no straws being clutched. Morrison's attitude problems are well-known and are part of the reason he hasn't progressed as quickly as was once thought. I'm not saying he's rubbish, just that he should've been in and around your senior squad by now, from what I heard about him when he was younger.
As with Pogba, that episode speaks for itself.
Ok so thats two Arsenal youth players who have acheived success. One with Man Utd and one with Chelsea. The previous poster who mentioned arseanls current crop of young players should take note that unless Frimpong changes his surname to Cole and leaves the Gunners hes gonna end up like the rest.
I agree Morrisons off field issues have limited his progress and if he doesnt sort his head out then it would be waste of talent
To be fair, Ashley Cole won quite a few trophies before he went to Chelsea...are you sure you follow football at all?
