Podolski can't play CF imo. He'd be more annoying than Giroud is currently. If they could both play up front together, then we'd be in business
Have you ever wondered why professional football managers never play Podolski upfront on his own?
He played their against Sunderland
I know he did. What I mean is he never gets picked to play as a lone striker regularly. I'm sure he's played there a few times in emergencies or on the odd occasion, but he hasn't been played upfront on his own regularly for years now. There's a reason for that.

Maybe that he's a game changer and played a huge role in changing the game today?
By the way, just wanted to say Podolski's stats make for pretty good viewing this season.
Appearances: 36
Goals: 14
Assists: 11
I know statistics aren't everything, but quite a few of those have been important goals too. Not bad for a supposed ''flop''.

Really? Endless runs of trying to cut in the box and ........

Could you for this comment the whole night long. Poldi showed today why he shouldnt play as a CF. I do think that Poldi maybe the reason Giroud was better in the game though. We showed more urgency and could pressure Norwich when we made the subs.

brining in stats you could say that from Giroud too.

When did I ever say Giroud's stats were bad though?

His pace caused the Norwich defence loads of problems and I can guarantee had we not put him and Oxo on, we wouldn't have won today. We needed pacey players to get in between their stubborn defence and we didn't have that up until Wenger brought him on. You could see the difference to our play in the final 10-15 minutes.
Fab yes?
I didnt questioned you Samir. I only wanted to add that.
Was your last comment aimed at me Samir?
Biggest cheer of the day is when Podolski came on. Everybody wants to see him up front, I just don't understand why he is warming the bench. The guy could be one of our best players with a long run in the team, I am convinced of it.

Yes, i agree, I hated it how he managed to score a goal that wasn't a tap in.

What a strange comment.
GT will you be going to the Arsenal - Wigan game, even if it is now a midweek game?
Batmoanu, would you like to explain my no manager has played Podolski as a lone striker regularly before?
