Evaluation of Sczezsny

He made an awful save/clearance when Fulham equalised from that FK, got lucky it was offside.

I'm torn. Fab has been on good form but Chez made some good saves today and on Wednesday so I'm really undecided

How lucky were we that the Fulham RB was offside for the goal that was disallowed? Szczesny really needs to do better with long rangers

Would you bring Fabianski back then? I suppose he did get lucky in that instance.

Szczesny dropped another clanger - thank goodness that the assistant referee picked up the offside

I have been a big supporter of Szczesny but frankly right now he is no better than Flapianski - Mannone is no good either...

Nah I like Szcz, I'd keep him in. He's better than Fabianksi.

His distribution has improved a fair bit too, compared to before.

I don't want either to be number one by next season.

If Fabianski is fit in time for the Utd game, personally I'd bring him back - and that's a pretty damning statement regards to my faith in Sczezsny at the moment.

When you look at the respective development of Wojciech and David De Gea, I'm afraid our Pole is just not good enough to be our no1.

Whoever gets the nod though, I just hope they do enough to help drag us over the line (again) and Arsene finally... FINALLY spends some proper money buying a PROPER f/cking goalkeeper this summer, then Wojciech can work his way into the reckoning from the bench... and consider himself lucky to be there.

That's a fair point, Alv.

Can only realistically see someone like Valdez coming in though, and while he is an improvement, I'd rather we let Shez develop. Or have we been linked to someone else recently?

Valdez isn't an improvement

Fabianski has cracked a rib, is that right?

I was reading this morning it's unlikely he'll play again this season and with talk of an exit this summer, he might not play for Arsenal ever again...

Can anyone shed any light?

And I haven't heard anything about Fabianski not playing again this season, although I'd be pretty shocked if he were to be offered a new deal.

Valdes is awful. Worse than Almunia.

I didn't finish my sentence.

Valdes

would a bad choice.

But not as poor as Kam's knowledge of the art of goalkeeping.

id give the place back to fabianski

szczesny needs to learn that hes going to have to work very hard to keep his place

But if he's in better form, then surely he shouldn't be dropped? It's a bit harsh to drop somebody like that, especially just to make a point. I think he's intelligent enough to know he's lucky Fabianski picked up an injury.

I've split opinion like an atom with this one previously. But (here goes), QPR are packing their bags for the Championship as we live & breathe, I really would make a play for Cesar.
