|As I said on a previous thread, any trolls from other clubs will be deleted, anyone is welcome with good comments (even if they disagree with me) but don't come on here to call my threads a load of the brown stuff. I don't WUM on your boards so stay away from my comments.

who cares about how they would've ended up under AMc - should have kept Sean - Not Billy's fault today, though - just unlucky

I'm glad we didn't keep Sean. Out of the three, BD has done the best job with the same squad.

Igor, no. You make some good comments, now and then.

We shouldn't have sack Sean to bring McLeish in, but really we should never have given him the job in the first place. I think we're better off now so it doesn't really matter.

I stand by my comment which I believe was pithy and insightful. The OP is a crock, in my opinion, and not one of gold.

When Davies came back, he came back to a mess. Everyone in football having a go at the club and owners.

SOD was unlucky and now has found himself relegated with a crap team.

I said at the beginning of the season 10th would be a major improvement. If we finish where we are I won't be too disappointed.

However, next season with a few additions I will only accept top 6 and preferably top 2. Davies honeymoon is over come the last game of the season (that is if we are still in this league which I fully expect)

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, if we had brought Billy back after SOD we would of made the players easily probably more.

Last year we were relegation fodder.

This season weve gave it good chase for the playoffs, brought in the right manager for the job, got an ambious chairmen, and thats if we dont get into the playoffs (still got a sneaking feeling we might nick it against fester)

We saw how fawas did business to build an entire team from scratch, imagine next preseason where we arent just 'building' a team, but improving it .

I dont think i've ever been so excited for next season, regardless of what league were going to be in. We know what we have is quality now, we know fawas is ambitious and is willing to build from strength, we know billy is going to be the man to get us up.

As much as I want us to get promoted this season, part of me wants us to be a Chemp team next year, just so that we can absolutely smash it and have one of those seasons like we did in 97/98 .. which was the most exciting season I've ever experienced (anyone remember the M'boro home game with the speakers stacked around the pitch .. unbelievable )

Now we know Derby are safe it would be nice to completely do them over as well ... they're due a couple of spankings from us

^^^

Judging by Derby's league position, if we don't give them a 'spanking' somebody else will.

Billy has had one lucky promotion, Rev. That's all. He's achieved nothing much in his career and his once again showing that he's an overly cautious bottler.
