666 - Sounds like you actually went to the game. Well done you. I hope you shouted as loud as possible. Even if you just shouted "Clough out" .
It would get mixed up with the general noise and sound like encouragement for the lads. But I suspect you left just before the end and your lack of voice let Blackpool in to score
We will arrange it closer to the time mate
No leaving before the end, Ramdini: I bore witness to the entirety of the turgid nothingness that is Nigel Clough's away 'tactic'.
13 losses on the road this season: I'm sure it's just down to the players' mentality though, eh? And Your Nige's tactical mastery simply hasn't got through to any of the 578 players he's had in his four and a half year spell here, amassing nearly twenty wins.
Useless! Clough out!!
I must admit Clough's away record in 4 years at Derby does concern me. I think it's something like 19 wins in 120 games? Just think were we will be next season if he sorts the away form out and maintains the home form.
I have been thinking that: this season has been on of the tightest and therefore simplest to get out of: all that's required is consistency. Clough has consistency: he CANNOT win away, as shown in 120+ attempts, so we're pinning our hopes on that changing?
Our away form won't change til the manager does. We have only half our fixtures to get enough points for survival under this berk and that's why we'll never do anything under him. Too negative, too predictable, too ineffective.
Time to go.
from that 19 away wins....4 have been at Forest...lol
TBF 666, Clough says we've been unlucky in 90 of those away games. My dad has missed usually misses 6 games home and away all season and he thinks in those 120 games they have had 250 shots.
19 away wins from 120?
4 wins from last 23
A 'striker' who has scored 1 in 18
Season ticket sales down 9000 since GSE took over
4 consecutive bottom half finishes
One things for sure: This combination of management and board isn't brilliant
That's because of the crappy system he uses: plenty of the ball in midfield because we play 6 in there but the cost of that is nobody up front. We have no goalscorers, much less strikers, and simply cannot afford to carry Sammon 'because he's busy for 90 minutes'... Busy doing nothing!
It's a garbage, toothless system that sets out to not lose: the win ratio proves it as it's no more than you'd expect from a league with promoted and poorer clubs in it. We are Derby County and we deserve better than a nice surname; we deserve leadership, tactical awareness and an actual network of scouting contacts that extends beyond the BetSquare Northern Alliance reserve league.
don't you think tho' 666 we are a decent central defender, a decent winger and a goalscorer away from being a success?
No, I think we're a decent manager away from success.
We'd need world-beaters for Clough to mould them into a competent Championship side, or just a proper manager with nous.. I know which method makes the most sense.
666, how do we know that you weren't sending contributions to this post during lulls in play from the dugout yesterday at Bloomfield Road? You even sat back and folded your arms after sending each contribution................then told Andy Garner what you were doing...........
Might as well have put the bust of Steve Bloomer in the dugout on Saturday although, to be fair, Your Nige brought on Bavies and he equalised soon after.
One day, I'll be able to tell the grandkids that I was there on the day that Clough made a telling substitution
Chill out, 666. Everything will be OK.
I'm in Balmore, north of Glasgow: if I get any more chilled, I'll be a eunuch.
I assume you are on a pilgrimage to see the place where Magnus Magnusson lived out his final years, 666.
"You passed on three"
"I've started so I'll finish"
etc
I wouldn't have had you down as a Mastermind fan, 666. I would have thought you were more of a Songs of Praise kind of guy.
I'm a little concerned that my ja606 page is swamped with adverts urging me to buy PINK bass guitars...
I'm doing that 'work' thing everyone raves about: to be honest, it's not really suiting me.
Very interesting item to be found on the website of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland, 666. It details how, in 1934, a Roman coin was dug up in the garden of a Mr John Bartholomew in Balmore Haughs. The coin, a "second brass", had originated in the time of Antoninus Pius between 138-161 A.D. Sadly, when a visit was made to verify the fact in 1954, the coin had been "mislaid", so we can only speculate whether Mr Bartholomew made the whole thing up or not.
vidal.....you don't get out much do you?
666: I would strongly advise you to avoid this 'work' lark wherever possible. It's been proven to be extremely tiring if repeated daily.
That comes as something of a blow, Moj, as there's more pencilled in for tomorrow
Interesting things, coins
Dare I ask what your line of work is 666 out of interest?
... And don't say you're Nigel Clough's PR man
Ground engineering: piled foundations specifically.
It's as interesting as it sounds too
Bit of ground engineering humour there......
