Totally agree with RVP Arsenal would have had at least a shot of challenging for the title.
Goals win games (well duh...) and the one thing Arsenal lack is a striker who will guarantee that. In spite of the reputation that Arsenal are cack in defence (there are instances where this can be backed up, ephatically at times), the defensive record this season is actually pretty good! It's more a case of one too many individual errors and a blatant lack of a 'holding midfielder' that hinders Arsenal in a defensive capacity.
Arsenal sold RVP, a proven Premier League goalscorer, on of the best strikers in world football. Replacing him was a thankless task really. Unless the club went out and spent 25 million upwards on a replacement it was at best 'hopeful' that they'd get a replacement of similar standard.
Hopefully the club puts that right this summer. And as for RVP, yeah he's never going to be flavour of the month with Arsenal fans and his memory will always be tainted, but that's life, move on. He's a Utd player, get down and focus on supporting Arsenal players, RVP is the past, look to the future.
i really dont care. its better he left us and showed his true colours rather then him staying, and all of us being fooled by calling him a legend and building a statue. hes a 2 bit 1ucker that deserves man u glory hunter fans lol. im sure wen he leaves and looks back on things. he will regrett everything
Oh come on, this was being said the season after Fabregas left.
It's as bad as the Liverpool fans saying 'next year will be our year'
bull. van persie is your only great player. fabregas was over twice the player van persie was. with out van persie you would have not won the league fact. we are not that far of city relative so it was a posibility.

Actually without RVP we probably still would have, there is a BBC article where if you take the top goalscorer from each club away, MUFC are still first. Arsenal are second, City third.

We have more than one great player.
Also, RVP half the player Fab was?
RVP contributes to 19 points for us (According to the graph in the link above), Fabregas contributes to how many points from the Barca bench?
RVP is world class. You can't say the same about Fabregas
