Like I have been saying yes we have been poor in the SPL but we have won the league and played allot more games than the rest, pluss we had a fantastic run in europe which is were to be honest your team is judged.
So yes poor in the SPL but fantastic in europe
Sorry Pointy, I've had to report that as being offensive!
Jungle - in all seriousness my question is this -
Other than a wee bit of luck that Lennon had in Europe, do you honestly think he is the man to take Celtic forward?
I am asking myself the same question about our man too!
Xlavadadiers
As for europe wee bit of luck .....to be honest every team needs a bit of luck in europe look at Chelsea last year
As for Lennon taking us forward, yes he has made mistakes and the biggest one for me is not giving respect to teams when we get beat, but I do think he is doing a good job for us.
Lest face it Scotland will never attract top managers as we dont have the money
Re europe
luck goes a long long way, look at our run to Manchester. we were hanging on in games by skin of our teeth at times.
Lennon has done a decent Job at Celtic, and results like yesterday were always expected, they have never had to get out of 2nd gear in SPL, yet still won it with relative ease.
the fear of impending disaster of dropping points is gone for both teams
Lennon is a more progressive and ambitious manager (style of play) than mccoist is
i really dont think we can judge any manager considering how bad our one is

The real test will come if Celtic dont make the champions league. it will be hard to motivate players in the SPL.
Most would be running for the exit before the transfer window closes.
I think Ally must have been sacked. Greggs just issued a profit warning
sorry Ally, couldn't resist it. nice guy, pretty clueless manager
Lennon is a poor manager who would never have got a sniff of the Celtic job in years gone by. He is an objectionable character and Scottish football would be better off of he went to England.
Zach
totally agree, on sat we had
midfielder at LB
CB at RB
striker at RM
CM at LM
that honestly boils ma piisss
dont get me wrong half our team are utter garbage though and its not just allys fault
however sat for me was a chance to drop likes of hutton, cribari alexander etc and give starts to likes of stoney, smith and gasparoto etc
Zachsda
I can see Butcher or Mccall be your next manager, I think Coisty will be given next season, to see how he does just say you don't go up then I think he will go
butcher? no thanks, would rather have pat butcher, simply for his negative comments towards Rangers ever since he rocked back up in scottish football, huge chip on his shoulder
i would take mccall though, has improved motherwell ten fold

We do have a system. Our system is to buy much better and much more expensive players than our rivals and hope that it covers up for our managers inadequacy.
Getting back to the SPL is like shooting fish in a barrel but Ally gets a sub machine gun to make sure he has no chance of missing.

''Why are Celtic so rubbish this season?''
Open to Rangers Fans only!
Seems a fair enough way of getting a balanced thread.

I agree, I don't hate Ally, or the coaching team. I just think they are useless.
Hopefully even worse next season
Zach I can see that.
Don't think that was the intention of the OP though.
Any word from your "source" on that Yewtree thingy?
BTW was your "source" Leggo?
