I think Jovetic is probably the sort of forward we need. I think it says a lot that we've played some of the better football we've done this season when Gerv has played up top - not because of his prowess as a player, as he is pretty poor, but rather because he makes all sorts of off the ball run, drifts about and gives us fluidity, which I think Jovetic would do.

When we play with Giroud, he is very much the centre forward, and when he occasionally ends up on the wing, it all looks quite awkward.

Plus Jovetic loves the sort of 1-2s that Santi and Jack and even Poldi thrive off, and I remember Gary Neville saying earlier that they are pretty much the hardest thing to defend.
