Rangers should only go back into the SPL on merit, if the club accept an invite to be fast tracked them im out

if we are talking about a strong ideal top 12 based on club stature and support id go for

Rangers
Celtic
Hearts
Aberdeen
Hibs
Dundee Utd
Dundee
Partick
Killie
Falkirk
Motherwell
St Mirren

i remember falkirk and killie used to fill the entire bottom half of the broomloan road stand, these fans are lost to game through pricing and prob lack of relative success.

for me, this in an ideal world would be the top 12 teams in our country in the top league

ive prob forgot someone aswel

Supernacho,

If i agreed with your top two we'd both be wrong.

Celtic
Rangers

Celtic and Rangers in the top. Then 10 others. Doesn't matter who really. Do it alphabetically for all I care.

I would never put Rangers in the top 12..they have to earn their way back..and im not just saying that because i support Celtic.

bubble

no Rangers fan wants fast tracked

the only ones muting this are the ones who can the loss we are to the SPL finance wise

I think the points should be raised with SKY and potential sponsors. SPL and Scottish football needs money so they should have an input to maximise revenue!

I do. It's fooking dire watching us crawl back up the divisions.

Nobody is losing money like the rangers. Remember that.

its anything but a romantic journey, its a labour of love most of the time, but then sometimes it was like that in spl

dont get me wrong ive had a few cracking days out to away games this season like berwick, queens park and clyde

i dont want fast tracked, i want us back there on merit as we will be forever tarred if we do go back early

plus ill be done if our spineless board do accept an invite back early

also the longer we can starve spl clubs of our away support and the finance it brings them, the better

same with the mythical sky deal too

Bring on the fast track

we'll be having words if you keep this up

If they put us back in, despite us saying we don't want it then I don't see how anyone can hold it over us.

but the club is accepting it

how can we slaughter the likes of aberdeen, dundee utd etc for listening to their fans re not lettin Rangers into spl but ignored their wishes re reconstruction

then go ahead and ignore what majority of Rangers fans would want by accepting an invite into spl

posted on 1/5/13

How do you know it's what the majority of Rangers fans want?

They did at the start of the year, but I bet a lot would be happy if we were put back in the SPL. Especially if its outwith the clubs control so there can be no comebacks about us angling for it.

PB, I agree, IMO I would want Rangers back in the SPL (in whatever form it takes) I have had enough games where I am honestly toilng to get any motivation from the fare on offer.

I understand others from both sides will disagee but not I

posted on 1/5/13

do you go to games? do you ask yer mates etc? people you sit beside

there is not one person on my supporters bus who wants fast track, nor the guys who i sit beside

we would get pumped something stupid in the spl just now aswel

posted on 1/5/13

Why dont they bring us back up :

extend our signing ban
deduct 35 points each season for the next 35 years
we have to give 50% gate receipts for our home games to the away fans
and we have to build a cage for Lennons self protection

posted on 1/5/13

Yeah I do go to games. Most folk I sit beside and my mates etc are bored with it. They'd jump at the chance of avoiding another couple of dead rubber seasons.

Yes we would get pumped just now. But why would that be any different from a couple of seasons time?

It's just self flagelating stubbornness to say you wouldn't want to go back to the top division next season.
