And that doesn't take into account the possibility of extra time or pens
So fan.from.sixty.five that would take it to round about 5-00 o'clock or maybe even later then than. As I stated the FA are only concerned about making money and not the true football fans that will be at the game.
Just think if that had been Newcastle fans coming all that way at what time would they have been home.
I am probably the only City fan in the world who is actually pleased. From a purely selfish point of view, I work Saturdays and tried to book the afternoon off weeks ago but because my colleague is in Florida, I was told no chance. I would never get away with pulling a sicky. I finish at 5pm and live 10 mins from work
I'm not bothered either to be honest, always planned to stay over if we made the final
Too many years of feck all to be concerned with how unfortunate people are for getting home in the early hours after watching City in the cup final
The FA have always said the FA Cup Finial is for the football fans. If that is true then why is the kick off so late in the afternoon. They have also said that games kick off at that time on a Saturday, however they also kick off at 12-45 on Saturdays as well as 13-30hrs or 16-00hrs on Sunday as well as 20-00hrs on a Monday night so why wasn't 1 of them taken as well for a kick time. This is all about making money and nothing else.
Surely 14-00hrs kick-off on Sunday would have suited everyone, instead of 17-15 on a Saturday.
with Man City having sold well over 31,000 tickets for the Cup Finial just wondering how many Wigan are going to bring down and if they have sold their full allocation of 21,000+
after the Champions League final a couple of years ago it was an evening kick off (7:45 I think) and I was back in Manchester in the pub for last orders. The guy I was with did drive like a nutter and the land lord did "extend the hours" a bit for our benefit but it wasnt all that late. Of course, the Barca fans werent heading the same way.
And they would have stayed for the presentations boom boom
"And they would have stayed for the presentations boom boom"
too right, i was in the car by the time Messi had his hand on the trophy
I've got to be back at Euston whatever happens.

Ill have an empty car if you need a lift
Cheers, I may take you up on that.
I'm hoping that the 2 lads who I go to home matches with get tickets as we'll have enough for a car full then but as it stands it was either go a a bus of drunks, drive on my own or go on the train so I bought a ticket for the latter before they moved the time back and spent a further £34 ammending it to a later train.
I'm meeting my sister at Wembley but will have space for 4 both ways
