Steve Kean's a great manager, we would take him at the Molineaux anyday. He reminds me of a young Fergie.

When Venkys bought the club they knew nothing about football, literally nothing. Do you know how business works? If you're buying a new acquisition that you know nothing about, you get an expert to advise you. The "expert" Venkys got was Jerome Anderson, Kean's agent.

If you think Venkys got rid of Allardyce, not Anderson and Kean, then you are unbelievably naïve. Kean isn't a decent guy who did what anyone would do, he's a sc.umbag who did what a certain type of nasty, opportunistic, back-stabbing person would do. He stomped over the man who brought him to the club for his own personal gain. And then ruined the club because he's a talentless weasel who would never have got the position on merit.

Kean was unlucky was he? Unlucky to be caught drink driving? Unlucky to be caught on film claiming he discovered Phil Jones? Unlucky to nearly take us down? Unlucky to actually take us down? Unlucky to get an improved contract after abject failure? Unlucky to be unsackable for months? Unlucky to have brought Junior through? Unlucky due to the excessive dew on the grass?

Kean was clucking useless, a lying wastrel who the more knowledgeable fans found out after about 5 matches in charge. But your superior wisdom may be correct and the soon to be available vacancies at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge will obviously be an option that Kean will wish to consider. Im am sure the powers that be will have him in the frame for these jobs........why not, they may be just as stupid as the Venky's after all.

"Unlucky" doesn't cut it as an excuse. We all saw the games, we went from a solid unit under Allardyce to a complete shambles overnight with Kean.

Just discovered that Rovertalk place OOJW (must be getting concerned that I'm doing too much actual work at work these days!) and noticed you're a regular. Seems a decent size, like the old 606, but not sure I can bring myself to venture on. Anti-Pedersen, anti-Allardyce, a whiff of Venky-apologism. Thinking I'd find it very difficult to behave myself in such an environment!

I cant understand why any sane person would want to defend Keane or Venkys.They have made a total mess of our once proud and fine club.I reckon it will take years to build and repair the damage that these morons have done in less than 3 years.

I aint argueing with anyone,i am just giving my point of view and if it differs from yours ,well hard cheese,and re read what i have written i have only said about S Kean that he was very unlucky in some games,never did i ever say that i thought he was a good manager,but in some games he did not get the rub of the green,and many Rovers fans would agree on that,,but what i do say is this,and this is when i realise the intellegence of some of the comments by other posters is bordering on the idiotic,Kean took the job and no one ever as said that he stabbed anyone in the back to get it,however even if they have accused him of that in mind that point is of no issue,as the Venkies had heard how the majority of the crowd would welcome Sams sacking (because of his style of play),the only problem was they gave the job to a totaly unkown guy with no managerial experience,the fact he accepted it was not his fault,who after his appointment just made mistake after mistake in trying to appease the fans with coming out with stupid remarks,but he has been a god send for the Venkies (who incedently came out with many more stupid comments than Kean ever did)and the Walkers Trust for that matter ,as all the idiots ,and i do stress idiots forget who appointed him and lay no blame what so ever at there door,for me the Venkies and the Walkers Trust have put us in the position we now find our selves in,,and believe you me worse has still to come,,but hey you can all just go on blaming Steve Kean,f e c k i n g idiots!!

I really think that all Decent Rovers fans gave all the managers their support up to a point!When you are on a dismal run for 3 seasons and losing more home games than away games for most managers the writing is on the wall.It could be worse look at Wolves,twice relegated I feel really sorry for those fans.I think it hurts when deep down all this could have been avoided.

Yes of course they do Star,even Burnley fans turn on there managers,i remember the abuse that Laws took from them,Wolves fans attacked there manager,Liverpool fans were a disgrace against Hodson and Chelsea fans appalling against Rafa so this abuse of managers goes with the game and it does show that Rovers fans are indeed no different than any other,however some Rovers fans do hold a difference of opinion,it is at that point when tht difference is expressed that the losers come out talking about poor grammer,you always know your debate is won when the idiots..,,have to resort to that cr ap,any how good luck to S Kean for the future,, come on ladies lets have some other stuff thrown at me,,Hee Hee
