Funny you say that but I'm one of a few that doesn't mind wenger having one more season.

I have made it clear before that we all want us to be successful under wenger again. I do think change is required but as the season has gone one I have warmed to the idea of last chance saloon

We'd undoubtedly have a better chance of winning the Europa than the Champions League (if taken seriously) which could breed confidence, however I think the implications of finishing outside the top 4 might out weigh this. I mean, If we do intend to strengthen will we have the same allure as a Champions League Arsenal?

I can understand your logic CT, but it would do us no good to drop out of the CL. We're a self-sustaining (profit-making) club so we're not going to see a big injection if we miss out. We'll be spending lesser amounts on probably more average players.

After tomorrow's game we could be in a situation where the possibility of coming 5th becomes a reality.

Of course I don't want us to not get 4th.

However, if we don't, maybe the club will be more aggressive and active in the summer (still think we can sign top players without CL football)

We'll get top 4 again. Chelsea and probably Stoke will get something against the potatoes.
