If we are keeping Sharp we should go and get Rhodes from Blackburn to partner him. Along with Cox we will then have three awsome strikers with Dexter as backup

I'd love that Webbo, but I don't think we are prepared to spend silly amounts on one player, regardless of how wealthy our owners are. Blackburn would probably want at least £10 million for him.

Supposedly we are after le Fondre. If we had Sharp, Cox and Le Fondre that would be immense, but hopefully they could actually score next season!

Proven at this level. No brainer.

The issue has been, and always has been the service from a narrow midfield. Thats why most of our goals are from midfield, thats as far down our team the ball goes.

We might not have to play two wingers, but atleast one would stretch the other team out enough to give our strikers a better chance.

Also he wants Henderson as well.

Let's hope he wins his court case then

All of our strikers are capable getting 15+ in a season with the right service (well, possibly not Dex).

With Cox, Sharp and Hendo, and Dex/Tudgay as backup, I think that would be enough for next season, as long as we finally get some bloody wingers !!!!! That bloke from Wolves will do for a start (Bako???)!

Bako

Guessing you mean Backery Sako (hope I spelt it right )

Yeah he was about the only real talent Wolves had in their team when i watched them, he would be a good buy!

I agree Sharp would score more with better service, but if that was the only reason why was he banging them in before SOD left?

Don't forget to leave yourselves with plenty of time for an eye test before the window closes.

To me the question isnt, should we buy him?

Its more, why we he sign for us?

He's hardly played. Just can't see why he'd stay to sit on our bench.

That's the one SBD .. it's been a long week!!

Our squad is so close to being capable of a promotion push! I'm unbelievably confident that come August we'll have all the pieces in place! I'm expecting at least 3 STELLAR SIGNINGS this summer !!!!!

Confidence there Hoons!

Hope you are right

Depends on what you consider stellar as I would not put Sharp in that category but good enough to do a job in the Championship but not sure he would be good enough if we got promoted.

Sharp wouldn't be any worse than Holt in the Premier League, but he would need the team around him to supply him with opportunities. He wasn't really getting that here, even when SOD was in charge and he was scoring regularly.
