He beat DeMarco a top 5 fighter in his division and I agree he needs to more solid fights but he has been chasing Burns who prefers to hide behind his team and promoters. Bradley, Peterson and Alexander etc have sparred the guy and say he is the real deal. I think he opened up against Rees as he knew Rees couldn't hurt him. DeMarco is a big puncher and couldn't make a dent in Broner.

Broner is like Mayweather who look vulnerable in the first few rounds till they work the opponent out and then dish out beatings. Broner is rated in top 10 and 15 pound for pound by various boxing columns such as the ring magazine.

Then he stepped up a weight division and defeated Katsidis with a comfortable UD decision.

He then schooled Moses, and destroyed Mitchell. Both very competent fighters.

He was then due to fight Vazquez until Vazquez pulled out as he obviously didn't wanna risk losing his title for the money on offer from Warren.

Broner become his number one mandatory at 130. Guess what he vacates his title and moves up instead of having to defend. That was his first duck of Broner. Frank Warren won him the world title at 130 and 135. WBO should change it to Warren Boxing Organisation.

He avoided a reschedueled fight with Vazquez to face another handpicked opponent. Broner and GoldenBoy then offer Ricky Burns and his team a fight this summer which Burns rejected. Duck number 2.
