Played couple of hours snooker against a mate about 10 days ago.

I lost 5 games. All of which went to the black ball.

Could have saved ourselves 1hr 55 and a little bit of money there.

Sounds like you had a rough time. if that was me with one of my mates, they wouldn't stop for weeks about it because of how close it was.

Do you play on a regular basis? Or just as a bit of a 'lads night out' when you feel like it?

Been playing once every forthight or so.

I'd won 4-1 the time before so wasn't too bothered.

I play often. I normally play once maybe twice a day or every couple of day's.

Not much to discuss at the moment as the season's finished but I'll be around when I can.

Anything to discuss?

Did anyone watch any of the Legends Cup at the weekend? It was England and Northern Ireland vs Rest of The World. England and Northern Ireland had Ronnie, Steve Davis, Jimmy White and Dennis Taylor in the team. While Rest of the World had Stephen Hendry, Cliff Thorburn, Neil Robertson and Tony Drago.

No I didn't see that, sounds like it was interesting to say their were some big names in there.

What channel was that on?

It was on Eurosport Saturday and Sunday I missed it all on Saturday though but watched most of Sunday. Team Rest Of the World won 18-14 I think it was.
There were some single games, doubles and the last 4 frames on the Sunday they did this special black ball game which was pretty good.

Lets at least try and keep some form of discussion up through Post-Season Snooker.

Ok, how about great rivalries in the game,

Mondern times has to be Hendry v O'Sullivan, O'Sullivan v Higgins,

Another rivalry that i remeber clearly is the tussle between Hendry and Davis, when Hendry was coming to the top, they never played a world final, but the 1990 UK final when Hendry won 16-15 signalled the change in dominance. Who can forget Hendry v White at the Crucible ! Some people don't know that Jimmy beat hendry twice at the Crucible, sadly never in a final, a 13-12 win 1988, and a 10-4 victory in 1998.

I miss those days in the 1990s when Hendry dominated the game I was only a kid back then so I can only remember it very briefly but mainly the years from 1993-1997.

We need to do some form of competition on here to really keep activity up on here.
