I think most of the events will be on Eurosport. The UK championship is always on BBC though and that is usually around November/December.

Well, just gotta wait that long until the UK Championship then. Ah well, we will find something at some point during it all.

Hopefully we'll be able to give this place more of a name the next time a major Snooker Championship is next up.

In the meantime we could always talk about our own snooker performances and I will keep everyone filled in about how garbage I am

Playing tomorrow. Looking to avenge to 0-5

there's a few ranking tournaments before the UK - mainly in China (3 or 4?), and also one in Australia. I think the next one is in China early June. There are also various PTCs dotted amongst them.

I would love to start playing snooker on a regular basis - I think its one of those sports that it's not that much fun unless you play at a fairly regular interval.

I've looked at the schedule for next season but I have forgotten most of the dates of events lol.

I play snooker at least once a week and I'm still pretty much sh11t my highest break is like 28 and I require a lot of luck to get breaks into 20s lol.

My highest break is a mere 43, pretty poor if you ask me. Play Snooker on the off chance I find some time but definitely playing it more often from June.

LRF - not sure if Eurosport is showing any of the overseas events, although I don't get it on my sky package anyway!!!

I see the women's world champion is through to meet Neil Robertson in the next round, and I believe that Selby has been knocked out already.

Haven't picked up a cue in years, use to play 2 or 3 times a week, had a top break of 60, but was pretty happy to make a 20-odd in a frame. Always struggled with power / screw shots, but was pretty good at middle pocket potting.

Never really know how far this will make it. How long until we are back into the Snooker season? Hopefully soon because I want to get this thing rolling again.

With the amount of tournaments that Hearn has put in the schedule there's barely time for a close season.

Meldrew, Well there seems to be currently. RKW hasn't put any information about any Tournaments up as yet and it seems that he is the main man on this board for doing that kind of stuff so I'll leave it up to him when the Tournaments are and then hopefully build this up a little bit more.

Ding beat Marco Fu in a tournament in China few days ago. It was his 3rd ranking title in a row apparently.

I'll be getting threads up for the Champion of Champions (starting on 19 Nov) then immediately followed by the UK Championship.

C of C thread will be up next week before the weekend, if anyone wants to get a prediction comp started in conjunction with this thread then I'm happy with that

I've seen my name mentioned on one of these threads about potentially making prediction leagues for Snooker? I'll read through it in a little while and I'll see.
