Well done.for your final.epic fail post Lucas.

Any more will be removed unless you can outline his merits as a manager?

Come.now....surely.you Must have more than a nice toothy smile, something his countryman also has

Times ticking by Lucas, surely you can give us your insight into why Poyet is a great manager, after all Liverpool supporters are THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE SUPPORTERS IN THE WORLD.

Sorry for the caps but I just love that myth

It's right up there with Liverpool FC are one of the biggest clubs in the world.Name me one other truly big club in world football in the last 20 or so years that haven't one 1 championship in that time.

Dr Phil, please explain where i said he was a "great" manager

surely a Dr has the ability to read??

posted on 14/5/13

OK you reckon he's talented. Now Lucas how can Liverpool FC be a truly big club in world football as you and your fellow RS claim when you haven't won a title in 20 + years and can't even qualify for europe

given the above, its testament to the size of the club, its history and fanbase that we still are Dr Phil

8th...despite our current slump...its why we are still classed as a truly big club

truly big clubs would not in this day and age go 20+ years without winning a trophy.

You make money but don't win titles,no wonder the Yanks bought you.Liverpool FC cash cow for the boston red socks

posted on 15/5/13

nice to see that a Dr such as yourself has been able to define what a big club is.
so, if we are not a big club, but have won lots of trophies over the last 18 years, whilst you have won zip, under what category do everton come under? small club? tiny club?

posted on 15/5/13

titles define big clubs.Truly big clubs win their league every now and then.Is it 22 or 23 years and counting now? Are you even remotely threatening to challenge for the title?.

posted on 15/5/13

Wow Lucas you are bitter.

We have been in a mess since about 93, without Money to throw at the problem. Well done for winning so much....you Must be proud.

Welcome to the average board, you will fit right in

posted on 15/5/13

Of course a big club can go a significant amount of time without winning the league. Big clubs won trophies. Aren't we 3rd in throphies won in the PL era?

I take it, using this logic, United weren't a big club during their 26 year gap between league titles?

posted on 15/5/13

so it is only titles that define big clubs...that and that alone Dr Phil?

fellaini - its great, it really is. Winning a european cup is the pinnacle for any club. the odd smaller trophy thrown in is nice also so why on earth would i be bitter?
3 years of underpeformance and our status in world football remains strong...doubt the same would happen for the "sugar daddy" clubs for that long a period

Hey...

I think Martinez has a better smile than Poyet.

Lucas..

You keep trying to justify something with a trophy count. Don't get me wrong, I have shared some magical moments at Goodison with fellow fans. If banging on about a trophy to the people you know makes you happy.

Fill your boots, but for gods sake stop moaning when ppeople wind you up regarding the league

its just wind!

--------------------------------------------------------------

Only 3 years of under performing are you sure about that?

If Shankly was still alive I'm sure he'd disagree on that statement, but then again expectations over the park have certainly dropped since the Yanks came calling.

You seem more obsessed with commercial deals than winning titles now so it seems.I'm sure once the Yanks have done their sums then finishing 5th-7th every year but earning good money will seem far more palatable for them than spending a fortune on players fees and wages to fight for possible 4th.

With the new sky money coming in now the riches of qualifying for the champions league have diminished somewhat.

What is this based on?
