So do you only want English owners then Spartacus? Good people like Robert Maxwell and Ken Bates?
I remember the Derby lot getting all excited when they thought the Walt Disney Group were going to buy their club.
All talking about which World class player's they should be going for, putting in a bid for Ronaldo or was it Donaldo.
I think the journo must have got his wires crossed when he was tipped off that Derby were being taken over by an American Micky Mouse outfit.

Yes if we are top 6
So you don't think Billy Davies will be there.
add a question mark if you want me to answer Spac
--------------------------
Yes, I think we will be top 6 easily given the right investment over the summer and an injury free season
Thanks Webbo - appreciate you being candid
So, if I've read this right, you NEED to be top 6 for Billy to survive -(in your honest opinion)? Anything less is deemed 'failure' and he has to go?
No I'm not saying that.
Most on here know that I'm not a big fan of BD.
The question was :
"do you REALLY think he will be there at he end of the 2013-14 season?"
I think if he is top 6 he will definitely be there.
If he isn't top 6 then I don't know. Bottom 6 and I'd hope he would of been replaced. Inbetween is down to the owner and I can't judge how he would react. I do believe he stands a better chance of keeping his job though compared to SOD and that prat McCleish
Well the sole aim for our club is promotion (and the sooner the better), it's not unreasonable to expect a top 6 spot as a minimum requirement for Davies keeping his job after next season, and if he can't get us up then someone else will, eventually...
I think with investment in the players he wants in the summer and a few in January we could make the top 6, especially with billy's record of always having got a club into the top 6 when he has had a full season.
Would hope maybe for top 2 as well but will have to wait and see
Personally I couldn't give a toss if Billy is here in a year or two. I care about how well the team is doing. This modern idea that you somehow get moral points if you stick by a manager for years is nonsense.
My loyalty is to the club. If we have sack managers to get where we want to be, so be it
Personally I don't want any yanks who are in it for the fast buck or a middle eastern indolent spoilt brat who needs to buy friends fy owning my club. I would happily hang both from the main stand. I don't think they are ruining football, I think they have already ruined i
--------
If it's been ruined by nasty foreigners coming over here why do you still care or feel the need to comment? Seems a waste of time. You here this so often from Derby fans. If it's rubbish and immoral shut up about it and those of us that still love it enjoy it
I want my team playing the best week in week out. With the right investment we might be able to compete.
With the right kind of support we would end up trying to get to 11 points
Here learn a lesson. Rich owners prepared to part with their money to the right manager will reap rewards.
Sam Longsdon didn't figure it out and neither have GSE
*Without the right kind of support etc etc
Sutton in "I don't care" shocker!!
You know me 666 I'm in a constant state of seething anger due to Derby fans fantastic wind ups and the way my club is run. The obvious disaster we are running head long on it to has me tied up in knots.
These must be trying times: small wonder you're in denial, it's obviously some kind of defense mechanism
Do you realise that happiness makes you cry?
Do you realise that everyone you know some day will die?
Do you realise you have the most beautiful face?
The flaming lips dont care, why should we,
sutton's a Flaming Lips fan!
We are SO much alike you and I, sutton, that it's scary. Was listening to their version of Dark Side of the Moon just the other day.
It's hard to understand, with their music being so ethereal and dreamy and all, why you remain such a seething mass of anger though. Model yourself on Wayne, get yourself a gigantic inflatable ball to sit in, and chill.
And dress up as a bear too
You're telling Sutton to 'chill'?!!
If I had a quid for every post of his that starts or ends with "I don't care" then I'd be able to afford a 2 minute private consultation with you at your Playstation surgical consulting rooms/money-printing factory
He protests too much that he dosn't care, 666. If you look closely at any of his posts, you will see the flecks of spittle which have escaped from between his clenched teeth as he hammers furiously at the keyboard.
"Do you realise that everyone you know some day will die?"
And one day everyTHING will cease to even exist, as the Universe slowly runs out of energy and every atom disintegrates back to nothingness. Similar to Derby on a Friday night.
That's funny, F A-F. Bet you're pretty proud of yourself thinking up that one.

I like that 'un.
Fabulous title, but for me The Soft Bulletin is one of my all-time faves.
He's not right though, not by a long chalk, that singer.
I really shouldn't post after a few pints lol, but 123 comments, they certainly get everyone talking lol
