Mcleish is good, Dowie is better.
No's in order of no-ness
McLeish
Megson
Warnock
I would probably reverse that order DJ but agree anyway
McLeish is a defensive-minded anti-football ginger relegation merchant. It's a no from me.
Same for Megson and Warnock.
I'm hoping that the club with be sensitive to the breakdown of its relationship with the fans and avoid a divisive appointment.
Coyle or Powell would be my favourites.
Don't think it matters who we appoint Roger, there will still be a difference of opinion where the fans are concerned.
How about an election by the fans then if it all goes t*ts up again we can only moan at ourselves
You guys should've landed Steve Bruce when you had the chance. What happened there?
Owen Coyle seems a good shout.
I'd feel sorry for any team who was managed by Warnock, the guy is a colossal clown.
Steve Bruce would have been manager mate but the fans were so against him that M&M pulled the plug.
Hate Warnock with a passion, hope to god they don't bring him in.
He is negative for sure but he is a decent manager, but I would rather pass.
I am of the same opinion Cici but as i said in the article he came across well in his interview and i can't put my finger on it but i was drawn to him for some reason ???
Why were the fans against him?
I don't particularly like Bruce, but there's no denying he's a good Championship/low end PL manager.
Probably because Wolves fans are like a flock of demented sheep, if one has a gripe with someone then the rest will follow.
Then again i think the main reason was to do with his oversized cranium.
Hmm, that was a wrong move, I don't think you guys need me to tell you Bruce would have at least kept you in the league.
Good luck on getting back up lads
Thanks mate, won't be holding my breath though
The beauty of Wolves, no manager is good enough.
The beauty of fickle football fans the world over, you are only as good as your last game
With all the stats on the different possible managers McLaren has a massive plus - he's never been involved in a relegation. Pretty good in a managerial career pushing 400 games.
Im inclined to agree wolfgang.
Generally I would like us to go down the young and hungry route but we have wasted too much time and bottled the last two attempts at this......whoever it is, we need to be patient and give them time, we NEED some stability.
I would see McClaren as a safe pair of hands and he does encourage youth which will fit in with Morgan new financial restraints.
We are an attractive post Cinci and i hope we get the right man but i still don't know what Morgan is up to.
We are getting rid of players and molineux staff even though we are still getting a massive parachute payment.
I am so disillusioned with the club at the minute that i have no feelings about what happens next.
I have always thought we were an attractive post, especially when you see some of our former managers, but im not so sure that is the case now, you have to think that Morgan gets a bad press in management circles given the last few years.
As for finances, I can't help but feel we have been lied too, whether it be where the stadium money came from or whatever, but the appointment of saunders seemed to be one of 'you have no funds, good luck'!
I was one of those that said I didn't want Bruce here. And having watched 4 or 5 Hull games on TV this season he does play very boring conservative football. But cant knock the fact that he gets teams out of the Championship and has kept teams in the Premier. If I lived a few thousand miles away and was only interested in results rather than going to watch I guess I would consider him to be a good choice
If you really want to experience a twerp living across the pond who is never happy, and always criticising his side, try following Piers Moron on Twitter. Slagging off Arsenal for celebrating their 4th place finish today. @piersmorgan
No idea who thats aimed at DJ, i didn't want him and am very glad we didn't get him and i don't recall wolfie wanting him either.......do you mean simon?
As for your remark DJ. There are quite a few of us on here who live thousands of miles away and are therefore unable to see our matches, so what's your point?
Are we barred from having an opinion about our side, thereby not allowed to comments on matters appertaining to our club.
I'll wager that there only a handful of posters on here that actually go to matches.

WITSS, I'll wager that the majority of the fans that post on here that are based in the UK go to games. I'm sure they outnumber the three from across the pond.
The trouble is, you always say you want to hear from someone who went to the game, then discount all the opinions of people who have a different opinion to you and acknowledge the one that agrees.
