Benteke isn't going anywhere. 100% positive of that... if you heard any newspaper rumours about him then its all nonsense. check his twitter.. he's even stated himself its all made up nonsense and that hes happy at villa. hes only been at villa for one season .. theres no way villa would sell unless it was for a massive fee. that wouldn't set out a good example to players coming to villa park that we just sell when immediately when a villa player has a decent season

How can you say that? Benteke said himself he wants to move on...

I doubt Benteke is gonna come out saying I WANNA FACKING LEAVE YOU CAAAANTS.

20 million will get him and that's good money for Villa

Considering he's a huge Arsenal fan and said that before joining Villa and they wouldn't let him go unless it's 25/30 mill fee go unless I would be astonished that he would join you.

Doovde, Modric said that he wanted to leave for Chelsea but didn't. You think you're the only club that can refuse to sell want away players?

Doovde is making the same point as you, he's a spurs fan

It's a shame Mancini got the bullet or I believe Dzeko may well have been a possibility, I think Mancini would probably have let him go for £15 - 20 million and Dzeko may have left for regular football. Their new manager may have other ideas unfortunately.

Don't see Benteke happening to be honest, he's said he's happy just now and it would probably take a ridiculous bid to get Villa to sell.

We need to try and find a gem of our own but hopefully the Ade of next season is more like the Ade of 2011-2012 season to give us more firepower.

I doubt it......he will probably stay, and if he doesn't, he will probably go somewhere a lot bigger than Tottenham

Well, lets go through a few:

Aubameyang
Muriel
Jackson Martinez
Bony (really like the look of him)

If Mourinho can't give Lukaku the right reassurances either, he might be up for grabs for the right price. He was happy to go out on loan, would he come to Spurs for a regular game?

Think they did pay big money for his potential, was it £20 million? I'd happily have him or Dzeko if either was allowed to leave. If Mourinho chooses to give Lukaku his chance then I guess Ba would maybe be available as a cheaper option.

Jackson Martinez would be nice but dealing with Porto again......??? Aubameyang or Bony could be worth a punt if the price is reasonable but I'd love Lukaku or Dzeko.

Forget Leandro, Either Sturridge or Ba in January would have breathed new life into us going into that tough part of the season, and there's no reason why we couldn't have got either IMO...

----

We couldn't get Sturridge cos Roman wouldn't have sold to AVB. Chelsea came in for Ba.. he was always going there.

Agree on Bony - his scoring record speaks for itself. Even if he came over here and got 10 in his first season the 10m or so rumoured is a bargain.

Lukaku would be the perfect signing, however

They spent 18m on a teenager.. can't see us getting him even if he's done sulking

Just a quick scout of the top goal scorers in the dutch league, after Wilfred Bony there's Graziano Pellè and Alfreð Finnbogason who have scored 27 and 24 respectively. Finnbogason has more potential and is the youngest of the three. Also, he plays for the Icelandic national side, so him and Siggy could form a good pairing no?

Must be a lot going on behind the curtains at Spurs right now.
Yes, the search for new strikers and off loading Defoe and ADE.
But keeping Bale must be taking some effort.
And looking for a new LB.
And worrying if Sandro will be fit, and stay fit.
And trying to get Holtby to get into top form.
Lot of dust in Levy's office ATM.

Andreas Cornelius is the way forward. Check him out people. That is all

Aspas would be a good cheap signing

As doo doos states aspas would be a very good signing and would be pretty cheap considering celta vigos circumstances. He has a temper on him though which is his only issue.

For me if we could get michu for around 8-10 mill.

For a player who has never played up front before this season the boy knows how to lead the line. He would be a perfect foil for a 4-5-1 in the last moments of games we are winning 1-0. Works so hard and has a touch of a berbatov.

Most headed goals in the premier league and most goals scored from set pieces to which would help immensely.
