Jeff Lacy, supposed to be the new tyson and joe took him to school, the great thing about calzaghe was that he could adapt to fight any style

He looked like a darts player

I didnt put Eubank or Benn in the list because neither went to the US to fight. The Benn and Eubank era was one of the best no doubt about it and Benn's fight against McClellan was one of the best fights i've seen however both kept fighting too long.

After Froch beat Bute, he came out and said had he lost that fight he would have retired. Well, if he did lose and retire then quite clearly he would not have made this statement. But, what I'd like to ask him is what has changed so damn much since that fight that he is the 2nd best. I'm pretty sure last year he did say that Lewis was his equal too!?

Well when Amir Khan began to hit the scene I remember seeing Prince Naseem. He was as fat as anything back then and seems to have gained more now. But, to be fair to him he'd make a good heavyweight now. He'd defo give Chisora a run for his money.

Ahh, that comment...
The point I was trying to make is he would have retired if he lost to Bute last year (He said that himself). He would have been in no position to make such a statement had he lost to Bute.

So, what I'd like to know is what dramatic things has he done since then to claim that he is 2nd best? How can he go from the mind-set of I'll retire if I lose to this guy... to all of a sudden a year later I'm the 2nd best Britain has ever produced.

Khan will never be on Naseem's level imo.

well boxer's always like to big themselves up, id have him at no3 in the british fighters ive seen, nobody has consistently fought the number of elite level fighters over the years that carl froch has, he's only lost twice one of which he has avenged, and the other was to andre ward who is a future ATG

My top two would be Calazghe then Lewis... After that I am not too sure. I'd probably have Froch over Hatton, tbh.

yeah Calzaghe and Lewis would be my top 2 aswell, probably lewis at 1 and joe at 2

Interesting nobody has mentioned Haye.

Phenomenal cruiser and won a heavyweight belt as well.

Haymaker is very exciting but that cruiser division was poor with wins against Enzo Mac and that French boxer. Even in the heavy Valuev isnt really a boxer and he was schooled by Vlad. However if he goes on and wins his world title again he will get in the top 5 for sure.
