Unless someone comes up with a 1 or 2m offer, Griffiths will be donning a Wolves shirt this coming season for only the second time.

Would expect the gaffer to do due diligence on his personal life and character first but, in purely footballing terms, think the released Titus Bramble would be a superb signing for Wolves if he could be persuaded to decline the inevitable Championship offers in order to come to us.

Know he's been the target of ridicule in the past for the odd ricket but generally very solid defender at the highest level and would offer the experience we need to blend with some of our youth.

Think he had an excellent spell under Bruce at Wigan though so might not be too huge a shock if he gets an offer to stay in the Prem from Hull. Wages are probably the other issue though and expecting to wave goodbye to a few players first before there's any chance of seeing experienced players from higher up the football pyramid coming in.

I don't see us making any significant signings of any real quality until we are back in the Championship.

Could be a long wait, I'm expecting us to be in League One for at least 2 seasons.

Obviously we have to stay within the financial fair play rules. There was a decent blog on wolvesblog.com about this and our obligations don't seem too oppressive for the coming season. If Doyle, Sako, Johnson and O'Hara all leave, don't think it's too unrealistic to expect us to going looking for one experienced, quality signing and I'd say centre half is where we need such a man most...

Judging by what we have and the likely departures, I would agree that a center half is the most needed signing, followed by a striker.
