Very clever side step there wolfie.
However, I will endeavour to return to the point in question - that being, would you agree that we didn't really have a replacement manager "lined up" properly at all?
By properly I mean with the terms and conditions of the contract discussed and the i's dotted and the t's crossed?
Over to you me ole china
We didn't have Alan Curbishley lined up anyway when we sacked Mick. He only became a candidate when said he would have some interest in the job on Sky Sports News after the event.
Seems you are wrong about this as well wolfie ol' boy.
None of know for sure whether he was approached before MM was sacked. It would be politically correct for AC to say that on Sky Sports.
At the time, none of knew for sure and still don't, so it's still a matter of opinion....ol' boy.

DejaVu.....we DID have someone lined up, that's just the point. It was AC.

Now I'm confused. You appear to be contradicting yourself again, Wolfie.
I DO know that 95% of the people I talk to about Wolves think that the club is in a worse position now than it was at the start of February 2012.
We are not debating whether or not he was approached though me ol' china. We are trying to establish whether we had a manager "lined up" to take over from MM before he was sacked.
Now, unless the person we had "lined up" was Terry Connor all along - then 95% of people would agree that we didn't have anyone lined up at all?
"You appear to be contradicting yourself again, Wolfie"
I think 95% of the Wolves fans EXPECTED there to be a replacement waiting in the wings. Probably only 4 or 5% thought that sacking the manager who had led Wolves to the Premier League was a good idea without having someone lined up.
One thing's for sure. 95% of Wolves fans AT LEAST would like to see Kenny Jackett take the club back to where it was when McCarthy took over in 2006, and then "move forward" to win the league, and eventually get back to the Promised Land.
Only 95% of your mates think we are worse off bute? You must know a couple of real idiots!
Very rarely a club has someone lined up, they have an idea but nothing concrete, all that is known is that these guys are looking for a job , little did we realize Morgan would play hardball with his contract offers.
If only he had done what was obvious in December, later proven by the fact he withheld up to 9million in transfer funds as he no longer supported mick.........Morgan=coward!

I don't think I said they were "friends", did I?
You must mean wolfie, but who else? Simon maybe?
Certainly not me as I agree with your point in principle, wrong time, things have got worse.
So who else bute?
Just 5%. I can't divulge all my associates due to data protection issues. The number of people 5% constitutes depends on the total that 100% represents, of course!
It does indeed but you used plural text so clearly more than one
Hint...

1) The reason you couldn’t comment on the other thread was that you had me filtered. You were the only person to blame for the fact you couldn’t respond
2) Your account on here was created on 26th October 2012. That’s over 7 months after MM was sacked. I therefore doubt you have any idea what was said “ON HERE” (your capitalisation not mine) about the subject.
3) Do you have a scrap of evidence to support your claim that 95% of fans wanted MM sacked in Feb 2012? From any site? I’d suggest put up if you do or shut up if you don’t.
