Why is valencia different? Because it proves you may be wrong?

Why cant we be compared to utd in terms of challenging city and cfc? I think we can, we havent because utd embraced the prem, lfc didnt, utd grew massively corporately, lfc didnt, utd invested while they were on top, lfc didnt. Thats the reality, but fsg are changing this and as I said before we as a club are as big as utd.

Hell Liverpool have spent more on transfers than us in the premiership era...

If there is a reason you haven't competed with us don't blame it on spending as you have spent more than us....

In fairness though these days your wages are a lot lower but that hasn't been the case for much of the premiership years either.

I personally don't like the defeatist attitude that looks so far in the future and says we can't win.

Football changes so quickly, it would be absurd to try and predict what may or may not happen over a decade.

We are one of the richest clubs in the league, and with a bit of luck with young players, injury, a signing being better than expected, then I am confident we can win the title at some point, no idea when though.

I don't believe it's a closed shop, it just takes hard work and a winning mentality.

We are one of only 6 clubs who can win the title, I would probably agree on that, unless one of the others gets a massive cash injection.

We finished 2nd only 4 years ago when Chelsea were still around.

If we get back in the CL and can stay in it, I see no reason why we can't build a title winning team.

It's no easy but it's certainly not impossible.

by some of the comments above you'd honestly believe that some of the fans think we arent a team that won the cl a few years back , a team that has such massive worldwide support , and shouldnt be aiming high ...

i know the quick fix option is not right for us but comments like 6th is ok .....???????????????

lads....take the blinkers off a little bit .....

we played good footie in patches .....but we finished 30 odd points away from united ...we got put out of the cup by oldham and we finished below everton for the second season running.....thats not good.....

i know im the biggest pessimist on ja606 .....but theres no guarantee that rodgers is gonna turn things around !

if we finish 7th or 8th again that i am afraid that just simply isnt good enough for rodgers or liverpool ...

i hate to roll out the "next year" cliche ...but this is a humongous season coming for us....

its pretty simple. BR has a plan and a transfer policy. He knows the type of player that he wants that will fit into our new style of play. Therefore the team all gels as they compliment each others styles. Sam allaradyce has done the same for years, he buys players who know how to play the way he wants to play. rodgers is doing the same and i would say at this point his is doing it very well
