Xbox is going to fail in a big way. I owned a ps1 and ps2 but switched to 360 but no way I'm buying an xbox one. Probably just switch to a gaming pc (basically they are just poor gaming pcs now anyway).
Don't like the way it has to be online (once a day) what does it need to upload? Kinect watches and listenes to everything.

although there are a few options if people are worried (stupid) enough to think the FBI are watching them

1) turn off the kinect, it doesn't have to be on
2) if you cant work out how to turn it off, turn it to face the wall
3) if thats too complicated stick a towel over it
4) don't plan a mass terror attack while playing xbox
5) set fire to your xbox
6) sit in your tin foil covered box, wearing you tin foil hats. They can read your thoughts maaaaaaan!

xbox1 is a joke, being told how many people you can lend a game to, I bought the game I do what the fack I want with it. Having to pay for kinect, don't even like the facking thing, played a couple games on 360 with it, is shiiiiiit!!
Having to go online everyday, what happens if you can't connect? I get that sometimes, then you're left with a brick, what happens if it goes down at their end?

Nope just accepting that is what happens in this modern age, no i dont think its right but its not something new, a fair few games have codes on now so only the 1st user may play the game online (fifa & madden being the biggest 2). Microsoft have already come out and said that they themselves will not be charging at this time but they will give the option to 3rd party producers if they wish to charge. All sony have said is that they will not charge for thier games, they have said nothing of 3rd party producers.

It may not find out anything from me, but I don't buy into this big brother society and the attitude of "If you are not doing anything wrong, then no need to care". I think there are certain ethics that should be followed by all companies and governments, and spying on the ones with no knowledge about Kinects always on policy is taking it too far.

Well I think I will stop using Google services. Don't use Facebook, twitter is only there for transfer rumours, and regarding internet and forums, don't be silly there are many ways to protect yourself.

Sir digby, not saying I am but its not hard for a hacker to spy on you via your webcam! Turning it off means nothing. I lived with a Bahraini who had links with arab hackers and he said its very possible...even more so when the machonemis made/programmed by a 3rd party.
