Xmen first class is definitely the best Xmen film to date.
Gotta be Batman Begins and Blade 1 & 2, 3 was crap.
Then there´s the bit where Bruce Wayne is somehow able to get back into Gotham City at the end despite a lockdown on the city where absolutely nobody can get in our out. How does he manage to do this ? No explanation at all is given.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I can't speak for the other plotholes but having been a Batman comic reader for about 25 years I can state quite confidently that Bruce Wayne knows Gotham like the back of his hand and would have a million and one secret tunnels that Bane and co don't know about.
Am i the only one here who rates 'Hellboy'?
Strange.
I saw a movie recently where some high school friends have Telekinesis powers and one of them ends up using it to do bad. Can anyone remind me of the name? Not a bad movie.

Well most of us aren´t avid Batman comic book readers so some kind of explanation would have helped.
Even if there were secret tunnels etc it doesn´t explain how Bruce Wayne would have got back into Gotham seeing that the US army are patroling the entire perimeter of Gotham City.
How did Bruce Wayne get past the US army without detection ?
Not to mention none of them have grown facial hair provided that razor blades were not given to them by Gordon along with food supplies
------------------------------------------------------
Exactly they should have all been running out with long hair and beards after 5 months of captivity.
Superb
A certain amount of artistic licence is allowed here. People have no problem with the 'amazing' Dark Knight movie where we're expected to believe
1) Harvey Dent has half his face melted off yet he can walk around as a supervillain with no physical ill-effects
2) A ship full of convicted rapists and killers decide to let their good sides save the other ship at a possible risk to their own lives
3) Using some sort of weird mobile technology Batman can fight his way through a building full of SWAT team members.
@ Fergie the King (We love you)
Chronicle? Brilliant film, my dad thought it was a pile of trash though. He has no taste...
TDK was realistic. TDKR wasn't.

While I agree that those are some glaring plotholes they still don´t come close to the plotholes in Dark Knight Rises.
Chronicle that's the one. I thought it was a decent watch.
TDK was realistic.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Go look at the face of Two Face and see how he walks around with no physical after effects and then tell me if that is 'realistic'.
What should have been these after effects? It was just a 2nd degree burn if I am not wrong.
Anyways off to hit the gym. Will continue after coming back

Yes, this is a second degree burn.

Maybe not realistic but entirely possible. People get parts of their face burnt off all the time.
Also Harvey Dent was in hospital for a while after that happened. It´s not as if he was walking around immediately after getting burned.
I liked Chronicle, Hell Boy is great
barbed wire staring pamela anderson
dont call me babe
epic shower scene
Being a huge DC nerd and movie buff, The Dark Knight easily tops any movie. I'm a huge Batman fan and I found The Dark Knight Rises really disappointing.
Avengers is just a child popcorn movie, a movie you forget about once you've watched it. It'll never be quoted as a 'classic'.
I've got my Man of Steel tickets for this evening and my honest take is that it's going to flop. The over-hype has got out of control, but it'll probably set new records at box office.
Has anybody mentioned Flash Gordon, with Brian Blessed, Timothy Dalton and that blonde guy that was in Ted.
I think suspension of disbelief is pretty important in super hero films. Did anyone really think that Harvey Dent's descent towards evil was realistic character development? Not to mention the Joker's plan, which was reliant on some pretty specific third party actions over which he had no control.
I thought TDK and TDKR were both exceptional films, although I wouldn't class either as "realistic". I thought Heath Ledger and Tom Hardy were brilliant.
