I ed aloud when I read that.

I've barely heard of half their bowling line up!

Thats deluded

and Indian Fan saying it....we'll he should be hung, drawn and quartered

I laughed at that this morning.

Over the last two years, it has been so obvious to most how the Aussies had been dependant on Shane Warne to remain at the top of the pile in cricket.

I think they are decent, but England are better, I won't even mention the vast gulf in the batting!

James Faulkner a beast

Without James Anderson, English bowling attack is on par to Aussies..

what are you on about Maf?

Broad
Swann
Finn
Tremlett
Bresnan

If they have all their bowlers fit, the Aus attack is right up there. Pattinson, Starc, Cummins, Siddle, Faulkner and Bird give them a fantastic bowling unit.....when fit. Add Johnson as a back up and it looks a very impressive unit. Their problem is lack of spin although Agar looks good. Not the best in the world but certainly not deluded thinking

Since the departure of Warner, Oz haven't foundd a proper spinner. Poor McGill waited for his chance and eventually retired..

Broad, Swann, Finn, Tremlet and Bresnen are all team players not match winners like Anderson.

Broad is a match winner Maf. He is inconsistent but he's well capable of a burst of wickets, like he did in the Oval ashes test in 2009.

Swann is not a match winner? Finn is only 24 and started off good in his career and will get better.

I completely disagree to your opinion on Broad (as I ever agreed with a Spurs fan). He is a good bowler and had his good and bad days for England but he isn't a match winner on consistent basis.

Swann has 15/ 5 wicket hauls in 52 test matches.. NOT A MATCH WINNER?

He was a match winner in one particular Test series. When i say "match", it's both Tests and ODIs.

Palmer_spur.. I have Broad down as my leading wicket taker in the Ashes..The wickets will be dry.be good for his off cutters.. Swann and Broad will do the job for England

maf are you a big cricket fan?

Mafia Swanns record in odi aint to bad either.. If you think Swann isn't a match winner yer deluded.

With a strike rate of 58.5 he took 222 wickets. In other words, for every 10 overs.

Graeme Swanns record in Odi cricket
104 wickets in 79 games average 27 and economy around 4 and half.

shane warnes strike rate is 57. Your digging a bigger hole for yourself Mafia boy.. For such great players of spin bowling. Swann was the best spinner in India last winter.

posted on 21/6/13

You should all notice, this article is about "best bowling" attack. I haven't said, Broad, Swann, and Finn are bad. My opinion is, they haven't performed on consistent basis to become "best bowlers".

posted on 21/6/13

Ha keep on digging, Swann is not consistent? guess his record is made up then.
You do realize most of the first innings of test matches.. Swann hardly even gets a bowl. Due to the England bowlers skittling teams out cheaply.
