Jay He probably thought no-one would Cheick his documents cos he's a hot shot footballer
The reason I prefer our campaign in 07/08 owes to the fact that some of our football was breathtaking and we were the undisputed best team in Europe as opposed to in 99 where we were never favourites for the Champs lge.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
We played better stuff in 98/99 IMO. Scoring 6 and 8 at Leicester and Forest and also scoring a ton of goals at home too as well as in Europe.
6 against Barca, 11 against Brondby, and winning the final against a great Bayern side with our 2 best players missing.
T Bag what an idiot you are
I think the 06/07 team played far better and more exciting football than the 07/08. We were a far more balanced team, and relied on each other equally.
It's a miracle you scored so many that season really.
Sheringham was old as feck, Ole was barely playing, Yorke didn't look bothered and Cole's best days at the toon were past him.
Veron really carried that team.
TBag is worse than 8bit and RGK, biggest fool on the Arsenal board guys?
Tbag is more deluded I would say
RGK is a highly knowledgeable poster who talks nothing but sense.
Well, it's safe to say I've put Les in his place

Okay I take your point, Yeboah was more clinical than RVN but he wasn't a better all round player.

We can both agree on the fact that the league was nowhere near as competitive in 98/99 as it was in 07/08 - I'm sure you have even been an advocate of this point in the past Rob.
Besides, using one off games as an argument is not always indicative of a great season...our best recent result came in a year that we won nothing...Besides in 07/08, we registered 6-0 and 5-1 wins against Newcastle United...
As for Europe...
Brondby
They were/are pony and you know it.
We really should have battered Chelsea in the first half of that final...we had so many chances early on.

Yeboah and RVN were that cut about Henry, I'll admit that but, when you look at Yeboah's goals in friendlies in Ghana, Tony was more clinical
