Dann is on the bench, I'm very surprised by this. The team is;
Myhill
Carr Davies Caldwell Ridgewell
Burke Mutch Gomis Fahey Beausejour
Rooney
Thoughts on that team?
1:0 Curtis Davies. Rooney 's smacked one against the crossbar as well.
hahahahhahahahah
Ex Wolves hahahaha
Ahhh good old Jason Shackell!
Left WW to join a bigger club
Hopefully CH can turn this around with a good half time team talk. Derby are not that good at home but unfortunately we only have one striker fit, and without being disrespectful of all the strikers we have IMO the one that is not as good as the others is the only one fit!!
I thought the gooners were looking at Dann today, is that why we never played him
Seems to me a deal has been done somewhere unless Dann is still injured ? Why else would we leave out our best defender..
KRO
When he left Cardiff for Birmingham you mean???
Taity I think Dann is on his way, otherwise he would have started today.
Signs of things to come I think...
More money for the owners to use for themselves when we sell Dann, they sure dont give a dam enough about the club to use it here

On a positive note we are only 3 pts off top spot
Early days, with a fully fit front line we will improve.
Where everyone will finnish at the end of the season is still as impossible to know as it was before a ball has been kicked.

It should be noted that today we fielded a team of strangers really.
It's far too early for conclusions to be drawn or for the razor blades to be passed around.
Apparently Mutch did well and we looked quite threatening going forward.
As the team becomes more familiar with one anothers strengths and weaknesses the performances (and hopefully the results) should improve.
Lets not rush to judgement before Hughton has his final squad settled and they have gelled together.

Just back from the game.Tbh we looked really good.We need to get our strikers fit though to give the manager an option.Beausejour played well and Carr and Burke look to be forming a good partnership.A draw would have been a fair result but we had more than enough chances to win it.
How was the Mutch & Gomis partnership in the middle, kane?
KRO
The whole team look promising JK.Gomis is the perfect replacement for Ferguson and Mutch is going to be an important player.for the first time in a long time,Blues, attacking and pace can be used in the same sentence.Rooney needs some help though.Chris Wood looks promising. He could have equalised but for some great last ditch defending.
Ta, kane.
Just got to gel and that takes hours of hard work on the training ground and games together.

Just read nigel Clough's comments. He said we were the better side. After all the gloom of the last few weeks,it's great to get the season started and see that there are a lot of positives.
You played well and got unlucky. Fair play, a draw would have been a fair result. But I guess thats karma for the jammy 1-0 you got a few years back when carsley scored
20 shots against derby today,my god under mcjudas it would have taken us about 10 games to get that many.early days yet, lets get the strikers fit and see if we can convert some of these chances
