Derby for goodness sake!

Honestly think the people who don't filter WUMs are as bad as the wums themselves. Just filter them and stop contributing to genuine footballing discussions completely derailing.

Back to the football, there are 46 games in the league season and thats our first competitive one with a new squad and new manager. If we click into gear in the next 5 games, happy days as far as I'm concerned.

Wow! That filter is great. What a good idea, now for the dog that is Cordy and it will be happy days!

Too right Brummer. After today i,m really optimistic. My only slight concerns are the Keeper and Caldwell.Hopefully they'll improve as the season goes on.Also, our transfer window opens again in September, and if the financial problems can be sorted out by January we might have a bit of money to spend. After watching today's performance,i think CH has done a fantastic job.

Apart from the goal , you wasted too many set plays. and I must say Chris wood and rooney dont seem good. Marlon king will get you goals and burker is a cracking player

Tbf to Chris Wood,he hasn't even trained with us yet.He only signed yesterday afternoon. He's only here for a month. You're right though about the set pieces.Beausejour was hopeless with them.

sour grapes or what, and you're not very good away are you?? Thanks for the three points!! Has your owner been let out of prison yet??

How can you misconstrew a factual comment about your club, to sour grapes when the statement, true as it is, was made at half time during the match?

Ground banger or whatever your name is meant to be, jog on

posted on 6/8/11

well is this true, did you get beat today? What makes me laugh about your club, people tell me it's a sleeping giant How can you misconstrew that, you hardly get any fans at St Andrews, are they now Aston Villa or Wolves fans, cause you're a laughing stock. Even your manager abandoned ship to go to your local rivals!! That must of hurt

Wassa, what goes around... comes around... watch this space

Xpat what comes around goes around, we've already had it with certain owners, at DCFC who have landed themselves in prison aswell.

Terrible wumming Wassa.

Last season Derby at Pride Park
Played 23
Won 8
Drew 4
Lost 11
GF 35
GA 32

I'd agree with Taity that those stats are "not that good".

We'll see how many fans we get this season, and also whether you bring a 4,000 allocation to St. Andrews.

Steve don't give me that about your crowds mate. I was going to your ground in the 70's 80's and 90's and your stadium was half full. You were like chelsea in the early 80's and stoke in the 90's. How does the song go? "where were you when you were ....s..t

Little do you know.
Our ex manager going to the filth is nothing short of poetic justice in the making.

the remark of Derby not having a great home record was based on your performances at home last season, do you agree?

You have took a line from what I have written, ignored the rest and tried to run with it .

Come back with a factual argument >ok>

90's, half full? I don't think so Wassa. I went for pretty much the whole decade and it was always packed.

2000's i'll give you. Attendances have been disappointing, but luckily for us, the business is done on the pitch and not in the turnstiles - except for today of course.

A thoroughly enteratining game today that could have gone either way, and went Derby's. That's football. Can't say fairer than that.

I'm still optimistic we'll be one of the stronger teams in the division this season - based on the players & manager, not our 'big' club status.

TAITY and that takes you all of 25 minutes to come back with a reply like that, don't pack in the day job, well in your case the night job.

Steve, totally agree with you about your football club, you've got a good manager there, some good players, and a fair few injuries as well, we played you at the right time. In saying that your crowds have been pretty poor every time I have been there. I have been about 13-14 times even in the 70's and 80's when it was standing only and you used to chuck us in that far corner. All the best for the season apart from when we come to your place!!!

posted on 6/8/11

Yeah, same to you.

I live along just off the A38 between Lichfield & Burton and therefore share some good banter with a few Derby mates. Your home attendances are outstanding and as fans you deserve an extended spell in the big time.

Cheers Steve, all the best to you geezer

I am sorry in the delay to your comments Wassa but I have a life
As Steve said we were no where near empty in the 90's and teams like Derby have never been in our league in recent history. Your wum is pathetic.

You obviously havnt really been "around" in the last few decades coming to Brum, all the times you came to StAns when it was empty!!! lol.
I cant see how I missed them games considering that was my era!!

Your like the also rans and you should get over the fact that you are on our board
