I love this third umpire need to give him extra 10% bonus
Uncle H. the piece of grass and turf hitting the bat.would have made zero sound at all.
Shane Warne ✔ @warne888
Apologies for my language, but that was absolute #bullsshit from the 3rd umpire.Has to be clear evidence to overturn the decision ! #rubbish
Someone is bitter
His face will fall off at this rate
Shane Warne needs to calm down. the amount of decisions he intimidated from the umpires in the past was over the top to say the least.
Today has been more like a warm-down session for England. Perfect for the likes of Anderson, who was battered after Trent Bridge.
For someone banging Liz Hurley, Warne sure sounds frustrated!!
During tea break Atherton gave brilliant piece on Watson batting. For an opener he gets too far across. Why does he gets on front foot a lot? This is not subcontinent. Too much IPL?
should have appealed for that, third umpire would have given it
Saw that from Atherton. The BBC did similar analysis (though not as flash) when Gooch was continually getting out to Terry Alderman LBW.
They might want to, if they haven't already, take a further look at Cook's woeful present form. He seems to me to be falling over time and again, his head not in the correct position.
Watson is a front foot player and stuck on the crease. Bit like Hick was.. if you don't have much foot movement your feet get planted a lot. England batting early on in the test had the same problem. that's why the were 28/3. To much back foot movement.. Root transferred his weight much better in the second innings.
There is no problem in being attacking minded, but Watson is too one dimensional and really has a technique of a player who has played too much IPL cricket. I mean there comes a point when you say, this guy needs to be dropped. They are just wasting their time with him now in Tests. In ODI's and T20's he will fit in.
But, in Tests he no longer has the mind set to produce big scores. Problem is he never had it, so now he will never get it.
Review THAT Australia
I wasn't sure.
Thought so - didn't look out when Live.
Perhaps not a bad thing - keep that pride in check
Looking at that again with the trained eye for detail, honed through years of catching criminals on the seedy streets of Birmingham, I would say that Joe Root's trousers are too tight.
happens. He has done a lot. He got Clarke. Can afford to drop tail.
Lets be honest guys if all of this happened against England- The sun would not be the only thing fuming.
I see Lehman is writing something down? maybe a letter to santa?for new batsmen and bowlers <biggrin
He just could not get any lower - watch the seams bursting on the inside as his fingers stretched in vain.
