I'm stunned by it too Keny.
I've certainly got mine! We've even got someone new coming with us this season.
Just wait until the Rangers fans come on and take delight at this- very predictable.
I've tried to preempt it in the article Henrik but I doubt it'll work
Here's a token then
Wouldnt want to disappoint
Last season was a show of defiance from many imho - the "we don't need Rangers" type of mentality. However reality has now set in and people are not willing to shell out for an inferior product. Not saying Rangers would have improved anything, but would have added more by being more of a challenge in the league, which was already decided before a ball was kicked.
Just my opinion.

With your current squad? Or if rangers had been allowed back into the league?
I can understand why you think that ath but the reality is that we don't care about the league being a one horse race - there isn't much difference to us in a one horse race or a two horse race when you're not one of the horses.
I do not for a second believe that 1200 people bought season tickets to see Dundee United simply because Rangers were in the league.
I think there was a degree of excitement (if that's the right word) about the league last season because of what happened with Rangers and with the prospect of Dundee being in the league. It's probably the Dee's relegation that has prompted a few more people to look at it and decide it's not worth it. But I just can't fathom why it's such a high number, especially as our season ticket numbers have been around the same for the last 10-15 years.
It's July 4th- people probably got their tickets earlier last year to guarantee seats for European qualifiers.
I'd expect Hibs have probably sold slightly more than this time last year.

Goodwillie signing might prompt a few more to take up their season tickets again.
Not with current squad, Chu.

sad but true
This time last year Ranger's weren't even officially out of the SPL, it's a weak comparison in my opinion.
Henrik - possibly but by doing so they'll have missed the "early bird" discount which, given that we're quite tight fisted up in the north east, was a bit stupid!
Curly - I don't believe that. I've never considered the opposition when looking at buying a season ticket and I don't believe anyone has looked at the fact Rangers aren't there as a reason not to buy it. We only play 2 home games against you after all. It's far more likely that people have looked at the teams prospects this year and decided against buying it, which is both borderline "glory-hunting" and also nothing to do with Rangers.
Take into account you were pretty poor last season as well.
Chu - the chairman said something along the lines of "the fans have been telling me they've been holding off season tickets until we make signings so hopefully they'll back the team now" when he signed Goodie so he obviously hopes that too.
Chu
I think we only won something like 2 home games last season so that'll be a factor.
Chu
Took them whit four month a new gaffer and a game against some third division outfit to get a home win

What are Hibernian's sales figures compared to this time last season, therefore we could see the effect having Europe has on them?
Curly, I beg to differ bud.
There are clearly a number of factors as to why the numbers are down and as far as I'm concerned the fact Rangers aren't there is at best a very minor consideration if it's even a consideration at all.
Form of last season
Selling of senior players
No significant signings before this week
Disillusionment with Scottish football in general
Cost
Relegation of Dundee
These are all factors which are far ahead of Rangers being out the league.
It's aw about ra Rangers
I hope things pick up for you Ivan, your my second favourite team in Dundee
