I did warn you about him months ago Redprint. On the plus side, it's early in the season and something can be done about it.
I hope Steve Lansdown with give one last punt and invest in a decent manager while this club has come this far before he decides to wash his hands altogether.
I know chopping and changing managers is not good but before it's too late it needs to be done NOW

Relegation looms and I say that after 1 home game...

I have , as you know, stuck up for our manager so far, in the belief that he has a plan and is building for the future.

However, I have to say today's line-up had me holding my head in my hands in disbelief.
No Cisse, no Kilkenny, no Reid,
Scuse who cant tackle, create or retain the ball (2nd goal!)
Elliot who, although a bustler, is somewhat suspect in the pass and not a creative force
Woolford on at LB when we are 3-0 down
Tanga and Fontaine together at CB which as we know is a disaster.
Pitman out wide - what the hell is he supposed to do out there.

OK, I've pulled out enough hair!
Its game 1, James had a mare, maybe we needed a shock horror to wake us up.
Adomah should forget about living on past glories and remember your only as good as your last game in football. Maynard should forget about transfers and remember he is also playing for his place.

Millen needs to hurl teacups and kick ass, because this is the point where he earns his money.
Time for Cisse, Kilkenny and Reid. Personally I dont want to see Scuse again this season. I would rather he played LJ (sic)

you guys are clearly more gifted managers than KM so why dont you go to sextones office and tell him that........... or you could support the team as player can pick up on fans not backing them and be good supporters ever since we nearly got to the prem people think we should be top 6 nooooooo we should not we are still unproven at this level please wise up its stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

'you could support the team'
Do NOT tell me how to support my team.

As for - 'stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
I could easily say it's clowns who can't see what Millen is doing wrong who are, as you say - 'stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'.

Hi 1For.

'I did warn you about him months ago Redprint'

You did indeed and at the time I said 'he deserved time for getting us out of the Coppell mess'.
He's had more than enough time to find another 'Caulker', a creative midfielder and LB. But what really worries me is 'his' style of play.
His choice of creative midfielder NK, looks dubious, a bigger LJ - and you know my thoughts on that little bu**er. So jury out.
His summer signings, Bolasie,NK,Taylor are presumably not good enough as you have to ask - why didn't they play yesterday. His other signings, Woolford and Pitman can only make our bench.
And when Pitman came on - left wing, mental.
Millen's style of play yesterday was, basically, long balls from Nyatanga - Fonts couldn't because he was always on his wrong foot !!
I swear if Carey had been right side yesterday Ipswich wouldn't have scored their first goal from that long ball in the inside left channel. Also think Carey would have 'naturally' got closer to the guy who scored their second.
Anyway we want what's best for BCFC and Millen's pathetic 'direct' style of play belongs in the Dark Ages.

ABTM
I have put my chin out for KM, but I am deeply disappointed with his unfathomable line-up against Ipswich.
To me there is a clear line-up which needs to be played whenever possible, irrespective of opposition, and it is
------------------------James
Spence------Wilson---Nyatanga-----McCallister

----------------Reid---Cisse---Kilkenny

-----------------------Adhoma

-----------------Maynard---Pitman

Once he finds a workable system he should let the opposition worry about us, rather than continually change systems to accomodate the opposition.
After all, its about finding 11 players who tick, and that cant happen when things are changed for every match.

Lastly, we will not win football matches if we give dumb-assed goals away. Its up the THE PLAYERS to prove they have more than two brain cells to rub together, as it also is for Millen.

'Lions led by a Donkey'- This couldnt ring less true, our players are not lions, little puddy tats.

Hi to you to Redprint.

I think the writings been on the wall for a long time. I too wanted Keef to do well, but the more the season went on last year the more it was clear he is still very much in the learning process.
Many say he saved us from relegation.......I'm not convinced.

Will SL dip in his pockets just one more time?
I understand that he had his hands burnt with the Coppell farse, but IMO for City to progress it was the way to go......
I would love to see a manager of roberto di matteo's stature, playing football I believe we are all dying to see at the gate.......I know it's no guarantees for anything........but worth the shout..

Good evening people!!!

Disaster, utter disaster but the team sheet had that written all over it.

Lets see if Keef can get a defender in before the deadline and take it from there. However, if he thinks that team is decent, we are in trouble!

Surely, he knows those players well enough by now?

I believe we have players to avoid relegation, maybe to finish about 15th but he need to put out a much more solid line up. In short, drop the 4-4-2 and the wingers for the time being.

Keef deserves his chance, but this is the time, no excuses to hide behind now. He is in the kitchen and the heat is on.
