Can you put on as much weight as you like after the weigh in, in any division or type of fight?

Yes but under IBF rules I think there is a limit to what you can weigh. Canelo walks around 170 I think.

IBF? wtf is that?

i get all these things mixed up man, wbf, ibf, wbc all these stuff. wtf are they? what's the difference?

It was Cotto's second weight, he fought at 140 before and was 146lbs in the fight before.

It was Pacquiao 's first real fight at the weight and he had stepped up 3 weight in just over a year and went to face a champion at the weight.

Mayweather is also the light - middleweight champion.

Different world governing bodies Kamran.

Pacman fought at 147 against De La Hoya before so no excuses for catchweight. Hypocrite like Mayweather.

You can't put on as much weight as you like.

You can put on as much weight as you can, but that isn't advisable as well.

I've covered this before.

So what's the limit, RGK?

Different governing bodies? Like Fifa, Uefa etc?

Like I said Pacquiao 's first real fight at the weight.

Pacquiao weighed in at 142lbs for the fight and was eating as normal for the weigh in day.

I think there is a 10 pound limit after the weigh in but that is if your fighting for a IBF title. The rest of the governing bodies dont have any rules so you can put on as much weight after the weigh in.

Yes like Fifa and Uefa except there is no leading governing body in boxing.

Kell Brook's rematch with Carson Jones, we will see how much Kell has learned, if anything.

Chisora fights the week after

The only way I see an upset here is if Canelo tried to KO him within 6.

If he drains himself for the weigh in etc, Floyd by UD or even late stoppage.

I think GGG's description of the way this fight may go is spot on.

Canelo's head movement was much improved against Trout, but he isn't a volume puncher and I can't see Mayweather sitting on the ropes against him as he sometimes does in his fights. If he does Canelo has a chance of getting to him.

The catchweight is annoying and may effect Canelo, but potentially it's still a great fight, which I can't wait to see.

As long as there is gas in the tank, Mayweather ain't got a chance of a KO.

If Canelo start blowing and throwing a lot less and looks like he is running on empty, Floyd might go for it but even then I doubt it.

would chavez beat GGG?

Interesting match up, Golovkin hits like a mule and Chavez got a granite chin

posted on 12/7/13

So who would you fancy?

GGG says in the link I posted that Chavez is more like a super-middleweight...

posted on 12/7/13

He is huge at the weight, but Golovkin is the much better boxer.

Chavez has said he will only fight him at super middleweight

Then he's scared.

In the video I posted, was that GGG sparring with Chavez? He looked to be dominating, but I could be wrong...
