i think 25 mill is too expensive for a club like us (not backed with oil money and bankrolled) for pay.

our record signing is paulinho at 17mill. 25 mill would smash that to pieces.

20 mill possibly. fair price is i think 15 - 18 for the standard of player but obviously villa dont want to sell - hence the premium.

spurs will never pay 25mill, so if we signed him it would mean the price had come down, or there was some kind of swaps or loan deals involved.

Hey, some of you may know about the sports gaming leagues on Ja already, if you do you get a tick. If you don't, you can have one anyway because I'm so nice. Basically, you take on a team, sign players into the league, submit a set of tactics for your games against other players teams and try and win the league. If you want more info on it, just give me a shout. If you like the tactical side of sports games (ala FM) then you might want to give these leagues a look over, even if you don't, there a good bit of fun to be in with some good laughs between the other players.

Anyway, we're looking for a few posters who would want to join up and either take on an existing team (Villa are quite strong already with Xavi, Aguero and Thiago to name a few on their books) or take on a whole new team, with a big transfer budget allowing you to stamp your own image on the team you love.
