If he doesn't sign I for one will blame Mark Arthur.

@NatJacksonsport: For #nffc fans asking i understand Rafik Djebbour refused to complete a full medical today so Forest refused to complete the deal.

BBC reporting deal has fallen through as player refusing the medical http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23268415

He must have heard about your rigorous eye test.

Okay. Back to this again. Do we have different medicals to the rest of the league
Other irons in the fire? Please tell me we won't rely on our present 'strikeforce'

The more I think about this Algerian dude, the more it seems like a pretty exciting signing. Played and scored in Europe, played in world cups. Scored a shedload in the top Greek league. Certainly more exciting than that jack russell at Prideless.

How's that virtual striker working out for you priceless couldn't make it up

Almost as priceless as the 'top six' claims some seem to be talking about elsewhere

Well I'd never heard of him before this week, so I can go back to not knowing who he is now.

If we can play with a least one winger and perhaps a commanding midfield general, that could be Cohen, we will see a profound improvement in our preent strike force I believe.

Resigning Big Wes could be the key to our season.

Perhaps Sharp will come back on another season long lone?

Billy Sharp is available, would come back and most importantly, knows how to score goals. Not sure what Davies is faffing around at when the solution has been under his nose all the time.

Wages perhaps with Sharp?

posted on 11/7/13

You are probably right about wages, Cstander, but Sharp has proven to be worth the investment, In my opinion. Certainly less of a gamble than this Algerian hot head.

truth is we have 6 championships level strikers and only two proven centre backs at this level... priorities!

Why agree a fee and wages and fly all the way over just to decide that you don't want to do a medical? Is this guy for real?!

I was reading on wikipedia (to my obviously in awe girlfriend hearing about Forest again...lol) about him being a nutter and well...looks like he is a nutter after all!!!

He looked a cracking player and scored some important goals in the Champions League so was always going to be a big ask for him to join, but he knew all of this already?!

Maybe he doesn't like his prostate being tickled!? Ridiculous to think that he wouldn't do a medical, completely agree (if that is the case) that we stood our ground and didn't play along with his BS.

This might be a lucky break in the long run, could see him having a good season and doing a Ba, Benteke etc...demanding a move because your agent / ego thinks you are miles better than what you are.

What a waste of time, I hope Guedioura gives him a slap next time he sees him!!!

Presume he heard the rumour that a few Prem clubs were interested?
Either that or Boyd tipped him off about the 'full' medical
Hope we move fast to secure a striker; surely a plan B is in place. Like others, finding it hard to fathom why Billy Sharp hasn't been snapped up!

posted on 15/7/13

Billy Sharp hasn't been snapped up because he was bang average for most of last season.
