Higuain wouldn't accept it.
No chance of it happening but Rooney would become first choice and we would have a failed attempt at hijacking the Jovetic deal
You think Higuain's going to play for Liverpool?
What are you going to bait him with? Breaking into his home when he's away?
It would be hilarious if this happens. There will be meltdown amongst the moronic go oners.
Absolutely no chance of it happening.
Continue wishing for that melt down.
But interesting that you say "melt down" though. Isn't that what's going on at Liverpool right now?
Not really mate. We hold the cards right now. Meanwhile Arsenal keep posturing for their gullible fans. Higuain, Suarez, Rooney, Fellaini, Jovetic... Who else you getting this summer?
I wish someone would actually accept one of Wenger's and call his bluff. Watch him poo squat.
Don't think Higuain would accept the move. I also don't think Arsenal can meet Liverpool's valuation for Suarez. Far more likely is Madrid eventually sealing the Suarez move and letting us have Higuain. They hold all the cards.
Madrid need to sell Higuain to us to pay for Suarez. If Real Madrid are serious about Suarez then Higuain is going to be joining us soon. If not then we have a chance with Suarez. 0% chance Higuain will be convinced to join the scouse s c u m.
I don't even know why Real want Suarez tbh. Very good player. But he's a second striker, rather than an out and out striker.
Blame it on Traore
but why would Higuain want to got to a team that finishes 7th?

Do they? I don't think Real have a sell to buy policy.

You're right, you can't buy class
That's right, I don't think he could be convinced to join Everton one bit. I'm also doubtful he would join Liverpool considering he was apparently unsure about joining us.

I can see why RM is after him.
Suarez is a top quality player and he'll do very well at Madrid. But reports do suggest Liverpool will reject the Higuain + £10m deal. In actual fact, it's very unlikely Madrid will offer that deal. Player swaps rarely happen and it's even more rare for top quality players to be swapped (i think the only recent case is the Eto'o + £30m for Ibrahimovic deal).
Much more likely, Madrid will offer the full sum of £40m, of which they need to raise some cash. Fingers crossed, this means the Higuain deal can be finally pushed.
BR doesnt want higuin. Hes not the right sort for us we prefer talent like suarez and sturridge.
Higiuin is good enough for arsenal though, bench warmer isnt he......be a good gooner top target that
It's a very shortsighted view to bang on about Liverpool not qualifying for the CL. It's quite clear the team is improving under BR and the Academy is geared up to produce very good football in support of who we sign this summer.
For example if we sell Suarez to Madrid and Higuain wants a challenge and to join a club with a large contingent of Hispanic players along with a great following why not Liverpool. He could help us get that fourth place and then everyone will talk about other players wanting to join becuase we have CL football.
Not saying it will happen but it's not an unobtaibable objective by any means.
comment by 50P-Suarez IS coming. #ITK Liverpool fans are in denial because of it. (U1147)

I seem to remember these sort of comments last year when Sahin turned arsenal down for Liverpool!

To be honest Aggers, i don't think your squad is quite ready for a top 4 challenge just yet. You made some decent aquisitions so far, most notably Mignolet, but i think you need some real creative quality to take you to the next level. Mkhitaryan would have been enough.
Not saying you don't have a chance. The league is always about the strength of the squad, and in that respects league positions don't lie. Liverpool finished 8th because, back last season, you did have the 8th best squad.
However, add a few more good squad players, add a Eriksen and you'll do well. But you're bound to lose Suarez and that would be a serious dent.
KLS, Arsenal turned Sahin down. And what a decision that was. Liverpool were always his second choice.
I predicted this may happen. Wad talking to some scouse fans at work. I said Real could offer Higuain as part exchange for Suarez... We fücking take our time in transfers....should have met Reals asking price...........
In all honesty whilst this would suit Madrid bigtime, I can't see Higuain wanting to move to Anfield.
