Fiorentina lost too, didn't they?
Yes, that's what I was saying on another thread. Benitez has been lucky Fiorentina have had some bad injuries.
They will never catch up with the mighty Roma
As long as they don't open the door to the Milan sides...
Mario Gomez is back in training today.
He'll struggle to get back in the side with Matri there now.
My Up and Down of the Week:
Up:
Lazio- good solid win away to Chievo. Could make a late effort for Europe.
Down:
Inter- on a woeful run- they're only 4pts off of Milan.
Matri.
Aquillani is injured too.
It's alright, they've got Anderson now, he'll stay fit all season.
Anderson and Aquillani- the A team.
Good, that fat waiter.
Did you hear what the Liverpool fans were chanting at Martinez in the derby last week?
"You're just a thin Spanish waiter, thin Spanish waiter!"
Isn't it two legs? 3-2 not such a bad result if so.
Yes it's two legs.
Roma can grind out a performance though. Totti needs another trophy.
League and cup double for Totti, followed by a recall to the Italian national team and leads them to the world cup trophy.
Is Totti younger than Giggs?
Yeah three years younger. Totti turned 37 in September and Giggs turned 40 in November.
I was kidding, but I still remember him playing against us on the night of the World Trade Center attacks.
Such a brilliant player. People bum the hell out of Giggs for still playing at this age, but they ignore that Giggs has been crap for years and should have retired ages ago.
Totti has aged far more gracefully, in my opinion. Sadly his reputation won't be at the heights that his talent warrants due to staying at Roma.
I'm sure he doesn't care, though.
There are some big games for the top three this weekend as Juventus travel to high-flying Verona; Roma face Lazio in the Derby Della Capitale and Napoli entertain Clarence Seedorf's Milan at the Stadio San Paolo.
Predictions are open.
Some stories from Italy today include:
Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic is to join Inter Milan from next season, according to reports.
Mario Gomez has returned to fitness as Fiorentina look to close in on the Champions League places.
And finally José Mourinho has said he is always an "Interista" in an interview with GDS where he said that both Milanese clubs must be prepared to give their managers time.
